Im from Mobile, Alabama and Ill be doggoned if these are some of the best daggum Donuts Ive ever had. Krispy Kreme be damned. I was told about this place from a stop of mine while I was out delivering one day. I got to try one and was instantly hooked. Theyre potato based instead of flour which to me makes them more fluffy like a little pillow of goodness. I like this place so much that Ill make it my duty to go to this shop and grab some for the boys that introduced me to them or just grab some for myself. Ohh and get there kinda early, these things are SLAP YO MAMA kinda good and were not talking bout bbq, and sell fast, speaking of selling their prices are ridiculously fair for the sweet nectar that you get, not like those overpriced mumbo-jumbo micro-machines ( looking at you Krispy Kreme) $8.00 for a dozen, youre welcome. I rate these as the best doughnuts Ive ever had, hands down. We live in Pensacola, FL but every time I visit my brother in Ocean Springs we make a special trip to downtown Ocean Springs just for Tatonuts. Its a serious disappointment when theyve already sold out as they do nearly every Saturday in my experience. Get there early! A dark time in my life was when they were closed down for several weeks/months and I went into Tatonut withdrawal, I dont want to talk about it, still having nightmares. Some people might not think theyre the best but you should try them if you get the chance. Your taste buds might be like mine and youll be in a little slice (round pasty with a hole) of heaven right here on Earth.

Traveled from central misouri on vacation to ocean springs area. A coworker advised me to make it a point to stop by Tato-Nut Donut Shop and try their donuts. I bougt a cinamin roll and a smothe with whip cream on top. Wow, what an amazing cinamin roll and smothe! What a unique atmosphere and shop. One of the owners was present and took time to visit with us. He had a whity and humbleness that added to the expierance. In my opionion the food and atmosphere is combined 10 out of 10. If ever in the area i recomend stoping by tato-nut donut shop, we felt at home their and i believe you will as well.

If I could give them 10 stars, I would! I visited The Tato-Nut Donut Shop in the summer of 2016 when I was at Keesler Air Force Base for training and it was the best donut I have ever eaten! Its a small hole in the wall type of shop but the staff is super friendly and tries to get everyone in and out as fast as they can all while providing excellent customer service. The donuts were unlike anything I have ever eaten and I am thankful I do not like anywhere near by because if I did....I would be extremely overweight!!

Fresh donuts at Tato-Nut are the best Ive had anywhere. Theyre big, light, and sweet with that potato flour taste that sets them apart. When I return to the Mississippi Gulf Coast I often treat myself or get someone else to pick some up for me. The Mohler family is warm and professional and they know what they are doing and do it well. Its hard for me to imagine anything of theirs not being simply perfect.

My son is stationed at Keesler AFB MS and brought home something amazing to South Carolina. It was a box of Tatonut glazed twists. They were truly delicious. This is the way donuts should be made. KK and DD step aside. We have placed an order with our son to bring more home before he leaves Biloxi. It is a good thing Eric runs marathons to burn off the donuts.

Amazing. Cant over-state the amazingness of a Tato-Nut. You just have to have to get whatever comes hot off the glazer, sit, watch the eclectic crowd of people, and slowly, gently take your first bite. Then, its over. You will never be satisfied with any other donut. ever. And you will smile and know that the world is good. Real good.

Great doughnuts at an excellent price. All the staff seemed very nice except the girl who rang us up, Im hoping it was just her having a bad day. I just wish I hadnt heard so much hype about them because I think there was just no way they could live up to it. They are really good though.

It has been a family-run business since I can remember. And I am 50 years-old. In my opinion, these are the best donuts you can find! They are always fresh and soft. Everyone is friendly and service is fast. If you havent tried these before, you dont know what you are missing.

Get them early and get them hot...a local favorite for as long as I can remember. You will feel like family when you dine here. It gets crowded but the line moves reasonably fast. The Mohlers are passionate about doughnuts, and you can taste it in every sweet bite.

Been going to this donut shop since I was baby and its just as God now as when I was a child. The regular glazed, chocolate glazed, twists, and Parisians are simply the best. Dont overlook their cake donuts either. Especially the maple iced.

These guys had some of the best donuts Ive ever had. Well, makes sense, because theyre not even donuts - theyre TATO-NUTS!!! Good stuff, we bought a couple of dozen for the whole class about every ever other week we were in Biloxi :-)

This is a nice place to go any day for a quick boost in your day, these doughnuts are the best Ive ever had. This shop also offers coffee, cappuccino, and smoothies. This shop is great for groups to come and relax and enjoy themselves.

The doughnuts are made fresh daily and they offer a great assortment but get there early as they usually sell out of the popular types. They have several coffee choices and the staff is courteous & friendly. The prices are good too.

I use to drive from Saraland, Al. to the Tato-Nut Donut shop monthly. I would buy up to 6 dz. and freeze them. I had to stop after getting divorce. I only get to go now when I can. The donuts are still awesome going on 17-plus yrs.

I just went back for the first time in years and it is as good now as it ever was. I forgot about the line. Dont sleep in! Get there early when the line is short and the selection is large. They really are "second to none!"

Always have to stand in line. Frequently outside. Never mind doing it. Best donuts ever, anywhere! I work an extra 15 minutes into my schedule just to be sure I can get my "Persian" and Latte.

I LOVE this place!! The donuts are fresh, light, fluffy, and delicious!! You definitely have to get there when they open!! But even if you get there and in theres a line its worth the wait!!
