We stopped by HyVee yesterday asking for some empty cardboard boxes for our move. We were told we could pick some up the following morning, so we stopped searching for boxes assuming that we had enough for a move this weekend. Went in this morning and were told that no one left a note and no boxes were put aside for us. Now we have no boxes and we have to be out of the apartment today. Left us high and dry. Not happy at all.

Best place to shop we are lucky to have one in our town! Cheaper than places like whole foods with a great variety and quality of products. Walmart treats their employees very badly and should be avoided! Give all your business to hy-vee instead and maybe hy-vee will be able to undercut Walmart with better products and a cleaner store :) The employees seem happy and well kept like they are being treated humanely.

Its a good grocery store but i was just there at 9pm and produce was wiped out. I also dont like that they close the deli bakery and salad bar at like 7pm so if you go later to avoid crowds you no longer have those options.

They have a wonderful meat counter, and they offer a large variety of fresh fruit and vegetables that are always wonderful. Anytime Ive needed help finding something the staff are friendly and go beyond expectations.

Hyvee is probably the nicest/cleanest/friendliest grocery store in town. The prices are also probably the highest. I go to this grocery store to get specialty ingredients or better produce when I need it.

I love the variety of fresh deli items. Also, meats, fruits, veggies all packaged fresh & perfect for singles & small families. They come with many gourmet-type options; so its far from ordinary.

Best quality produce besides going to a farmers market. Higher prices but lots of variety and offer many interesting products that are exclusive to hyvees. Fuel rewards program is awesome, too.
