Review for June 9th, 2017: Imagine this scenario; its a Friday night after a very long week of meeting deadlines and closing sales. You want to get beer or perhaps wine to relax for the night and weekend because YOU earned it. You work hard and you play hard as well. Now imagine a simple cashier ruining your night by simply giving you an unwarranted attitude. My experience(and day) was going well until I arrived to the cash register at Big Top Liquors. There was a lady there, whitish female, black hair, and rocking a short short along with her uniform t-shirt(unprofessional?). I approached her with a fairly generous greeting as I was in a great mood(going home and all). She responded and said, "Umm, hi?" as an evil look proceeded from her. I thought to myself, "okay shes just having a bad day, best I leave the small talk alone". Silence....for the next 3 minutes. So when I finished signing the receipt(as I was using a debit card), she said in a sarcastic tone "you try to have a good night". I stared at her and asked if I could get a bag as I was purchasing 3 bottles of wine and a 4 pack of Surly Furious. She told me to bag my own products as there was a line behind me. I bagged my bottles and left. I just thought Id share this review considering how nasty of a look she gave me, just for requesting a bag. Perhaps she doesnt appreciate the loyalty of a customer, since I will not be back again. I would rather go to Haskells and receive standardized service than deal with a bad employee. Also, the police officer who is always there checking IDs is nice. I wish I could buy him a 6 pack to take home for his service but I dont want to get arrested for bribery XD.

Super bad customer service, must be their first job or something. No social tactfulness, impersonal and rude. No one helps people in the actual shopping/looking for beer and liquor its like the Kmart of liquor stores. Id personally spend just a little bit more money at a neighborhood liquor store than go here and leave with a bad taste in my mouth.

This is typically my go to store. The folks are helpful. Selection is good. Good prices and always some kind of sale or rebate going on. Check out the Tuesday Dash deals. Yes its in a rough part of town and guys have to deal with all kinds of characters. Cutem some slack if they come across a little abrupt sometimes.

Souless, big box of a store with yes, surly employees (not much help[) a LOUSY Tequila selection and overpriced everything. I have looked there more than once but usually wind up buying from the great folks at Midway liquor where the prices are cheaper and the family run store MUCH more friendly and helpful.

Have stopped here once to purchase a bottle of wine for a friend recovering from surgery and who needed something to lift her spirits (well, that sounds a little odd, I realize). But the important thing was that a staff person helped me select a very good bottle of wine without going overboard. Thank you!

Prices are reasonable, but a short Asian cashier made feel very uncomfortable; I am from the West Indies; I am not used to that kind of rudeness; he stared at me for several minutes before it took the money from me. It was my first and my last time shopping at this store.

I will never purchase anything here again. Upon arriving, I realized I forgot my ID. I returned to my taxi and two men came out of the store and knocked on my window. They accused me of stealing and asked to check my purse. I didnt even get an apology.

Not just wine. Great craft beer selection and good selection of European imports. Also has a decent selection of sake and of course wine. My only complaint is that their beer selection could be even better.

Selection is fairly good, but only because it is a giant store. Prices are average at best. In sum: Its a reliable store, but it shouldnt be anyones favorite.

Good selection and prices. Easy location makes it a good place to stop as well. Sure it is ghetto in the midway, but dont let that stop you.
