Beloved is hands down the best, theyre absolutely amazing! I have received work from both Brandon and Dan over the last few years; they are both incredibly talented and passionate artists. Back in 2010, I had finally worked up the courage to go into Beloved for a consultation. Id been wanting a big back tattoo of wings for years and had thought long and hard about where I wanted to get that done. After doing a lot of research and hunting around online, Beloved was the winner by far. Brandon was receptive to my ideas and expanded my initial simple idea into a work of art. Thats what I so appreciate about the artists at Beloved--you give them your ideas and give them room to play and you will get back something wonderful. He and Dan ended up collaborating on that first piece and tandem tattooed my back.Originally I had said just black and white because I couldnt think of what colors would look right. Dan and Brandon came up with a beautiful color palette that totally fits my personality. I still am amazed how much they nailed it. I feel like a walking masterpiece every day. I love how their individual styles are still noticeable but at the same time form a cohesive composition. After the back piece, I had Dan expand it down my right arm in 2013. I constantly get asked if its real, because people cant believe a tattoo can be so vivid and detailed. Im just chomping at the bit to get my left arm inked too. And now today, I had Dan do a small, simple butterfly, but he still put so much detail and care into it. No matter the size or design I always know Dan will do his best--there is nothing he considers too boring or simple. You can get a tattoo almost anywhere these days...but if you want a work of art, go to Beloved.

Ive been working with Travis on my tattoo for several sessions now and he has been fantastic! He takes the time to listen to my ideas, provide his artistic insight all while staying true to what I want done. Working with him is a breeze. Hes easy going, polite, and genuinely cares about the work he does and his clients. Travis also never leaves his client hanging. If you want to be talkative, hes got a great sense of humor and some wonderful stories. If you want to just relax and enjoy the experience, hes perfectly willing to do so. Hes got a great sense for his clients and maintains the exact level of professionalism you want. Ive found the guy that Im going to be going to for the rest of my work! The studio as a whole is great. I originally had a meeting with the owner, Brandon for a consultation. He was direct and honest with me in his belief that he would not be a good choice for my work, which I greatly appreciated. I would much rather have someone working on me that is enthusiastic about the job and confident in their skills for that particular project and I greatly respected his honesty on the subject. The rest of the staff has been nothing but polite. I always look forward to going in for work because I know I am seeing real people who are interested in what theyre doing as well as what youre having done. Ive had work done elsewhere that left a bad taste in my mouth for tattooing. This place completely changed my view of things. Ill be going back for all my work and recommend it to all my friends.

A Private User

I received a tattoo from the shops owner, Brandon. I made the appointment two months in advance and trusted him to design it himself. Two weeks before the appointment I stopped in and he handt started sketching it up. He promised me that hed have it sketched up by the date. When the appointment had rolled around he hadnt started a sketch and decided to do it freehand. Promising me that it would look like what I came in for. After the session started he barely said a word to me. I was there by myself. He even had the nerve to have a meeting right there with his insurance agent while he was tattooing me. None of this would matter if the tattoo hadnt turned out so poorly. Its beyond help. I didnt go back for a touch-up because theres nothing to touch up. I have had several people tell me that it looks like it was done with a sharpie and two highlighters. Do not let the portfolios online fool you. For every good tattoo theres a dozen bad ones. Always choose your artist by talking to real clients. (Note- dont get this shop mixed with with Beloved Studios II, which is awesome.)

This is one excellent place to get some incredible tattoo work done. I have had work done by CM before at his old studio, and when I walked into Beloved to have a tattoo finished up from prior, I was actually awestruck. The atmosphere is absolutely incredible, very welcoming, a very polite and professional staff! As far as the work that comes out of this place, it is top notch! This isnt a place where you bring in a picture and get it slapped on. I have only gotten work done by CM, but it looks like every portfolio I browsed is masterpiece after masterpiece- I bring in a picture for a concept, throw in my ideas/thoughts in what I want the tattoo to mean, and CM has always drawn up something so much more then I expect, and it works perfectly with the location of the tattoo- I cannot say enough how satisfied I am with the work from CM and the quality of the studio. I dont think I will ever go anywhere else.

My friend and I had our first tattoo experience here today with Seth. We came in with a good idea of what we each wanted, and Seth went over the designs with us and walked us through how to make them better and more fitting for a tattoo format. We thought they looked good on paper, and with his guidance they look even better on skin! Seriously a down to earth and cool person too! The shop itself was very clean, well lit, and had an open layout. It had an awesome vibe all around. Cool artwork and decor everywhere. Everyone on staff that we met was very friendly and made it a great experience. We got to talk with a couple other patrons there and they had nothing but good things to say. Honestly being newbies we didnt exactly know what to expect, but everything went perfect. Seth was awesome, the staff was awesome, the tattoos came out better than the artwork we brought in, everything was awesome. Thanks!

I have gotten two tattoos so far (and will be getting another one soon). The people there have been awesome. I went into the studio thinking I was going to have a simple design tattooed but learned really quickly that the people there are artists... Brandon didnt want to use an ordinary design-- he wanted a piece of art- something full of meaning and something that was significant to me. So, I was challenged to think deeper into what I wanted. Brandon drew it up and it was incredible. I have received complements everywhere I go-- It is truly a piece of artwork that I am proud to have. It brings a whole new perspective to having a tattoo. I would definitely recommend it... If you want something simple tattooed on your body, go somewhere else; but if you want a piece of art and something to be proud of, get the work done here.
