Of all the businesses I traded with during my 6 yearas in Marine, Andy and Karen were always polite, cheerful and helpful. If there was something I needed, they were always willing to go out of their way to make sure I could get it on my next visit. I had the pleasure of getting to know them both on a personal and community basis. I miss our visits and I am eternally grateful to them for the care and kindness they have shown our entire family.

The General Store has been a St. Croix institution for over 140 years. It has everything you need to plan a day trip on the river or a weekend camping trip, or to fill up on groceries. For such a small town, the deli in back has absolutely mouth watering daily specials and soups, and the bakery will have you hooked for more. Check out the mid 19th century interior and grab all your necessities.

Nice store for a village. As you might expect, prices on some items are a little higher than you might pay in the city but not crazy higher. Its a great little general store.

I like the general store but the ice cream shop changed the brand of ice cream and it isnt good at all. Poor choice of flavors. Big disappointment. Yuck!
