There were two people working when we arrived, and no one else shopping. I found the gentleman incredibly condescending. I just commented that I had heard of the "zero gravity chair", he then asked where, I said I didnt recall, and he then said they dont advertise, I must be mistaken. Turns out that my mother owns one! Sorry, no need to be rude. The purpose of our trip was to find a good insert for an uncomfortable new car, they let us try a few in the car, but would not let us try for longer than 5 minutes, we were told, personal care items are non-returnable. Funny, Brookstone let us try out theirs and return it. Turns out the one we bought was not comfortable after 5 minutes. I didnt need to go to Burnsville, be treated like a juvenile and have a product that doesnt work. We found that the manufacturer has a store in Plymouth, where we couldnt return the one we bought, but they had a better selection and they let us try them out until we found one that did work. I went out of my way thinking that this store had the best selection, I was wrong, and they were rude, and I assure you I will never return.

I have been to the Relax The Back store in Burnsville three times over a four year period, and intend to go there again this week to finally select a massage chair. I looked up the hours online just now and saw the other bad reviews. I cant speak for the experiences of the other people, but as I said Ive been there three times. Each time the salesman allowed me to try chairs out, and never once did the salesman-push gig. He left me alone to try each chair for ten to fifteen minutes - I was probably in the store for an hour. Not once did I feel like anyone was pushing me to purchase, and nobody "hovered" around me. I personally prefer that method. Some might call that bad service, I call it letting the customers take the time to experience the merchandise and try things out before buying. I also never once felt like I was being treated rudely. I like the store and after years of waiting and saving, cant wait to get my new massage chair!

I have never written a review before, but I have to say that the customer service experience I just had on the phone was one of the worst customer service experiences Ive ever had. I called to ask if they had any Human Touch "Zero Gravity" chairs and the man who answered quickly rattled off 6 or so chairs they had and then informed me that he had "customers in the store". I thanked him for his time and he hung up. When I called back 10 minutes later I asked which models of zero gravity chair they had and he said angrily "They are ALL zero gravity chairs. I told you I have customers in the store! I said "have you read your google reviews?" and he said "what google reviews?" and I said "The reviews that say how poor the customer service is there?" He repeated again "I have customers in the store!" and I said "Well I am a customer too." and then he hung up on me. Unbelieveable!

I dont usually write reviews, but after seeing all the brutal reviews on this place, I wanted to help them out and offset the bad reviews with a good one. I was in need of an office chair and this place was recommended to me. The man who helped me was knowledgeable, friendly, patient and helpful. I told him my budget and he showed me a variety of chairs. The one I wanted was a bit above my budget and he negotiated a price with me so I could make it my own. Im now sitting in my ultra comfortable office chair writing this review. I would recommend this place to anyone. Thanks Relax The Back!

As professional photographers, we have a tendency to have extreme neck, shoulder and back pain. I went into the Relax The Back store in Burnsville, and from the time I entered to the time I checked out, Rose was an amazing help, and so friendly, as well as incredibly knowledgable about the products. I purchased an EPulse Neck and Shoulder massager, and let me tell you it is WONDERFUL! I visited the store to view a chair that was in the catalog I received the day before. They did not have the chair on the floor and had no interest in ordering the chair (it was not discontinued). I asked if they would reconsider ordering one, I prefer not to pay $5,000 for two chairs that I never sat on and the answer was no. No desire to provide any customer service.....No desire to try to order one.....I was amazed at their lack of desire to make a sale. I wont go back to this store. I wont recommend this store. I dont know how they are still in business.

The guy that worked there was the rudest person Ive ever met working retail. Also their markups exceed 200%, most of the stuff they sell you can buy online for a a quarter of the price -- a kneeling chair they had priced at $300, was selling online same brand new online retailer for $60. Never go to this store -- simply awful.

Just went in with my dad to check out the purefit adjustable wedges. Great service and knowledge about different options based on issues. Recommend going in and testing their items. Never know how it will feel!! Cheers guys :)

Went at 6:00 pm on 3-16. After driving 20 minutes to the store, The salesman was rude and disengaging as soon as we walked in. We directly walked out!
