I love having this Target in my Brooklyn Center neighborhood. I love that its close to my home, I love that I have a comfortable knowledge of its layout. All that being said, this store is very hard to shop in the daytime. I stop in there frequently before I head to my job or errands and since the new policy of stocking shelves during the day has happened there are not only stocking carts and employees in the aisles, there are many times where the aisles are completely blocked. Ive left many times without things on my list because I could not access the aisle. During this holiday season Ive had employees roll their eyes at me if I want to go down an aisle they are working in, Ive heard employees complain that they cant get their job done because of shoppers. Im shopping there - Im spending money there - I shouldnt feel like Im an inconvenience. Im worried about my Target. I want to be supportive of this business in my neighborhood, but its getting difficult. Earlier this week I stopped in right when the store opened for a number of things and there were no cashier stations with lights on and the self-checkouts (where one out of the four was not functioning) had lines down the entrance aisle. Ive always loved Targets philosophy of speedy checkouts and a "take the money" priority. Im sad and dont want to take my business to the Fridley location. Is this location in jeopardy of closing?

I recently was in this store to match something to Amazon Prime. I was told by 2 employees and a rude manager named Nick that they never matched amazon prime items. I informed them that I had earlier that week at that very store and I even pulled up their corporate policy to show them that they do. Nick refused to even look at it stating that hes sure Im right but that their store doesnt match prime items. I went to another Target and bought it. No problem. This was a major inconvenience and it speaks worlds about this stores management and customer service. Im going to reach out to their corporate. It needs a change.

There was a very nice girl there that checked me out as I was standing in another line. She quickly grabbed my things and said she could help me as she began to ring up my items. I was short about two dollars and i told her i had to run to my car quickly to grab the rest and she covered it for me. We started talking about kiddos and she told me she was expecting. She barely looked like she was showing. #Jealous. As I was getting ready to go, she said Happy mothers day to me. Such amazing customer service. Such a sweet young girl. Way to go target. You have yourself some awesome employees.

Not a great place for larger shopping trips. Carting away endless plastic bagged groceries. This doesnt seem to be the nominal customer type. I usually peruse the media/dvd section & use IMDB to review films. Some local interest in inventory. This seems to attract security. Apparently they havent figured this out yet. There must be a concern about volume. Staff is pretty friendly (especially compared to the uninvited local Walmart staff). Photo department is very helpful.

I have never really had a bad visit at this Target, and we are here at least once a week. The Pharmacy team is AMAZING - they are incredibly helpful, they remember our family and our names (before they even look us up). The rest of the staff are always helpful, and the cashiers are friendly to me and my kids, often having a friendly chat with us as we check out. Returns and exchanges have always been smooth and easy.

People who are working there want to help you. Clean, tidy and has a positive feeling from the employees. The Pharmacy team is fantastic!. They always go out of their way to help you. Other Targets should take a hint from this one.. Who ever is managing this team is doing a great job. Because this is not a large super Target, it sometimes does not have the largest of selections. But maybe that will change someday..

Great service, Walmart *cough* (the one down the road) need to take a good look of what good customer service is. I truly believe if Walmart could achieve this target level of expertise toward customer, all store would not able to compete. Great job target, keep up the good work. Its better to pay a little more and be treated right, then save a little and be treat like 2nd class citizen.

Great place to shop overall. I shop here instead of the Walmart down the road beacuase of one thing and one thing only, good customer service. So hard these day to get good customer service. I actually dont mind if I were to spend more. Friendly staff, safe environment, with great price, bravo to this target. This target customer service should be the standard for all stores.

My job brings me close to this Target store several times a month. I am grateful for the wonderful choice of Amys frozen vegetarian entrees. I also do lots of other shopping here, from personal care items, to household items, getting cards, and other. Staff always pleasant and helpful, and checkout is always efficient.

Sometimes you see employees hanging around the entrance smoking, which is mildly annoying. Parking can be frustrating with a steady stream of oblivious drivers. The store is in a sort of strip mall and that can be sketchy at times. Otherwise, its a Target on the inside, almost identical to any other youve seen.

Decent target location, but often seems like the shelves are bare or just really messy so you cant find what you are looking for. The layout is also different from other locations and it feels like you can walk around looking for whatever you are trying to purchase.

I feel grubby being there and the workers dont take their job seriously most of the time. They do have a lot of products and the food selection is nice. They are still better than Wal-Mart even though they are locate dim the bad part of Brooklyn Center.

nice clean store that had a good selection of product. Unfortunately they were unable to find the item they showed they had online. We did find other items we needed. The associate that helped us was very friendly and knowledgeable.
