I have been in the Blaine area for 3 years and normally buy my beer from Tournament liquor and go to Bricks (Restaurant owned by the same owner). I called today to see if they had Founders KBS available. The person I was talking to said Yes, we just got a case today. I said I would be in to buy one and he follow up with it was already "spoken" for. That was fine, I then asked how do I get one bottle from the next case reserved. He advised the next case was "spoken" for as well. I then asked how do I buy one from this store. He advised I will not be able to buy one and I will need to go to a different liquor store. I stopped by North gate liquor just up the road and they gladly sold me the last bottle they had in stock. I will never go back and I am done eating at Bricks.

The staff here is very helpful and knowledgeable. They must not move enough product, though as three separate beers Ive bought here over the course of a month had been on the shelf too long, and had a skunky taste to them. The beers were Harp Lager, Pilsner Urquell, and Shiner Bock. Dust is also visible on the bottles of other selections, and I imagine it would be the same case. They do have a wide range of selections, given the smaller size of their store. In my opinion, they devote too much cooler space to ciders, but a cider drinker would probably disagree with me. If Im buying a non craft domestic beer, I usually go here because it is closest to my house. If Im going to buy an import or craft beer, Ive begun heading to another bigger store up the road.

I came over here after a very disappointing trip to Northgate Liquor up the road. Im a homebrewer, and Im always sampling different beers for ideas. The 2 gentlemen behind the counter got me exactly was I was looking for, and had a very good knowledge of the beers they have, and the flavors of the beers. They also got me signed up for the beer tastings they host.. I will definitely be coming back.

This is our neighborhood store. We are lucky to have a liquor store that is this good in our area. The craft beer selection is excellent. I always get good advice on wine that is high value for my price point and taste. The staff has consistently been pleasant and helpful. Try to catch their in-store wine/beer tastings. Did I mention that the craft beer selection is excellent?

They close at 10:00pm. Fourth of july at 9:55pm they where out threatening people with a private property sign telling them they would be towed. Real classy and patriotic.

Surprisingly good liquor store. Theres a decent selection of beers and wines, and an ok selection of liquors. You can occasionally find an interesting beer, too.
