It has gotten increasingly difficult shopping in the 26 mile rd. store. Especially on Monday or Tuesday. The shelves seem to be empty of the items I purchase, especially if it is a sale item. Do you have night time people who stock the shelves, or is this an ordering problem? When I get to the checkout it seems to be a long wait to checkout. Last week Tuesday I was at check out about 9:30 AM, there were only two checkout lanes open and 10 or twelve people waiting to checkout. It appears that your employees are very unhappy, what is left of them. I am seriously thinking about shopping at Kroger. Ron Kaiser

I now know why I shop at Kroger. I always use the self-scan checkout and the man that attends the self scanners is very unfriendly. He never Smiles he never says thank you I usually have to have an over 21 purchase approved so I do have a one-on-one contact with him do you think he would tell me for thank you for shopping at Meijer like they do at Kroger? He needs a lesson in customer service and customer courtesy obviously hes very unhappy with his job I wont be going back to Meijer unless I absolutely have to... low prices dont mean anything when the employees are rude...

Well stocked but every time and I mean every time I come to this store at 26mile the customer service is horrific. Today did me in. Laurie my cashier never said hello, let me know I was putting a crimp in her day just by drawing breath. No goodbye as I took my 18,000 bags packed with one item each. However, at this point I was in no mood for goodbye or have a good day either. This Meijer can take a leap. Newsflash....there are other stores in the area. I wont be back.

Im sorry I dont review anything , quite frankly I think its unfair. That said its the holidays and having 2 cashiers and looking around at all the employees watching people bagging their ow. Groceries in the unattended self cashiers line is ridiculous. Whomever decided to get cheap and eliminate actual people as cashiers failed . I will do my best to not go back.... granted I just left and Im very frustrated after it taking 45 Min to cash out ... happy holidays!

this chain is outrageous in its pricing. they charged me $9.50 for a butternut squash. i got this free stuff coupons in the mail and i foolishly gave them my cell phone number. they sold that number and i get calls from a place i have complained about for years. i checked Meijers prices against the prices i pay at Walmart and Meijers needs to sharpen their pencil . they also allegedly treat their employees like crap.

The ladies that work at the 26 Mile location were so very kind. I picked up a birthday cake today and was a little concerned because I didnt want yellow dye number 5 in the cake. They assured me that my cake was fine and they also told me the cakes and dyes to watch out for in the future so I wouldnt have to worry. I would recommend that bakery to anyone who needs a birthday cake!

Evening shopping trip , usually prefer Meijer to the alternatives . Store was fairly busy . Check out were backed up because there was only 3 live cashiers and the self check-out open out of 30 lanes . Leaving the store (was dark out) observed at least half of the parking lot lamps are out. THIS STORES MANAGER NEEDS TO TURN SOME LIGHTS ON , IN THE CHECK OUTS AND IN THE LOT !

I frequently use this location due to it being close to my home. For a Meijer, it is a good store. The staff are friendly and the lines are never too long. One down side to this location, is that they never seem to have enough small shopping carts. I dont know why, but only about 10% of the time is there a small shopping cart available at the front of the store.

No matter when you go in this store they are OUT of everything I go to get !! I do not believe they stock their shelves appropriately !! If items are on sale forget it dont even bother going because they only had 2 of what was in their paper & 2 employees already bought them !! The absolutely worst Meijers in Macomb Co.

Seems since the Kroger opened across the street, the service at meijer has been better and its actually more stocked than prior. Again, the biggest issue is Checkout Lanes... Self Scanner checkout usually has a line thats quite a few people long! Having more cashiers would be good, or adding more self checkout lanes.

The Washington Township Meijer is Where I shop at most. It is nicely located, Clean, Good Pharmacy, Friendly. I love MPerks and Can usually find good deals. Its not often I cant find what Im looking for. Meijer is a Michigan Staple company, My Girlfriend moved to Florida and its probably the store she misses most!

Im going to have to be convinced to come here again instead of Kroger. 10pm one staffed lane open, 20 minutes waiting in line. My time is worth too much to wait that long because upper mgt wont staff cashiers that late. Krogers produce and meat is always much better quality as well, plus the bonus gas points.

Terrible! Its 11 degrees and February. Not 1 single coat or pair of gloves! Winter apparel gone! Completly! Springs coming so you cant purchase a new coat from meijers while theres still some and ice out! Im so upset. I guess Ill go back to shopping at Walmart , meijers obviously lacking any sense whatsoever.

The employees dont complicate my tasks... like the real cant chew gum & walk at the same time stupid dumb sharts they have working @ Meijer on 12mile & Mound Road during the late shift. Im not saying Im the brightest bulb in the shop... but I was that I was shining that night. Effin BONE HEADS!!!

Closest Meijer to me therefore, this is where I do 90% of my grocery shopping. Simple complaints: shelves arent stocked contiously or stocked at inconvenient times, not enough lanes opened, cramped aisles. Staff seems to hate working there, have heard some stories about the managers.

Pretty decent we were in line and just mentioned to a customer walking up behind me that she may want to pick another line as this one hadnt moved, (not in a rude or angry way just letting her know) and seconds later a guy walked up to us and ushered us to a lane he was about to open

I went pretty early, they were stocking shelves with it only being about 5am but they left stuff to where you could hardly get down many of the aisles. Things were well stocked though, the self service attendant was nice enough to bag all of my things, she was really polite.

Good store, but parking lot is always jammed and dangerous, the restrooms are ALWAYS absolutely filthy, (my main reason for a lower review because theyre that bad) and there are never enough small shopping carts available unlike the Rochester and Auburn location.)

Our go-to grocery store. Convenient to get in and out of a few different ways, great produce and product selection, even for "weird" items we need to cook with. As with any stores, checkout can take a while at certain times, but generally its within reason.
