I ordered a couch and recliner in mid December, as of Today March 21st it still hasnt been delivered, 4 MONTHS. Original lead time was 6 weeks. After the original 6 weeks had passed, we had to call as nobody had contacted us to inform us that it would still be another 8 weeks. I can deal with backorders, it s not like we were completely without furniture in our home throughout the whole process. However, I can t stand awful customer service, which is what weve received. How hard is it to pick up the phone and make a phone call? We haven t been contacted ONCE in 14 weeks with any kind of update on our order. The only time weve received any call back was when we had to call to find out what was going on with our order. I m sure the furniture is nice, but I can drop $2500 on quality furniture and receive way better customer service elsewhere. Which is what Id recommend before considering La-Z-Boy. *update 3/25/14* We were told today that our order is now delayed until the end of May. 6 Month for a couch and chair, which I doubt will even be ready in May. All of this after being told (another lie) on March 17th that our furniture was out for delivery. Time to cancel. Absolute worst shopping experience Ive ever been a part of.

Got a flyer for a big sale that started the 27th of April (yet the same ad said they were going to be closed that day). They had 2 different rocker recliners that looked like good deals so I went in Saturday morning when they opened. The one recliner I really wanted was sold out as they had a limited supply it was a closeout and the other one they had in red and an ugly sand color. If you want brown, red, purple, green go here and you will find what you want. Anything else has to be special ordered and you either have to pay to have it delivered or pay to pick it up. The chairs looked good but when you tell me I have to pay to pick it up I dont want any part of it. The adds are pretty much to get you in the door because all those special prices are good for is the certain color they are closing out (ie the colors no one wants).

If you want quality, Made in America furniture, buy La-Z-Boy. Rebecca, our salesperson, was very helpful and patient. Just be aware that depending on your choice of design and fabric, your perfect piece of furniture may be a special order, which takes weeks to manufacture. La-Z-Boy apparently contracts out its delivery people. Our delivery team was phenomenal. They called the night before, then 10 minutes before, and when they arrived, the furniture was wrapped to keep it dry from the elements. The delivery people took their shoes off, without me needing to ask.

Products are excellent, but delivery and customer service are atrocious and unprofessional. Be aware, if you want your purchase delivered, you will be obligated to take an entire day off from work in order to accommodate their third- party delivery service, as they cannot schedule the time of delivery, not even am or pm. We were not told this at the time of purchase, and cannot get a refund. Add an entire days salary to the cost of ownership.
