I purchased a laptop through Staples website about a year ago. I got a great deal and was very happy with it, at first. About a month ago, my laptop started acting a little screwy, I was getting lots of pop-ups even when I wasnt on any websites and trying to do anything was dog slow! All of these pop-ups eventually choked out my system and I couldnt do ANYTHING anymore. Every time I tried to launch Internet Explorer, I would just receive an error. I took my laptop into this Staples to get fixed. They informed me that my hard disk was corrupt from viruses and that they would have to completely wipe out everything and start from scratch. I couldnt afford to lose my existing data!! I opted to find a local computer repair shop instead and thankfully they were able to recover everything without having to wipe out all of my data. It turns out that some of the software that came installed with my laptop actually caused the problem! Had I removed this software when I bought it, I probably wouldve been OK. Beware!!

The staff and store are great. It gets one star because the guy running the printing area does not know how to estimate time frames, or manage his time. Doesnt take pride in his work, and let me tell you it shows in the finished product.... as I am here for the 4th time in two days fixing a printing/lamination error.

Website States they will recycle sealed lead acid batteries like from small UPS. I was just turned away with 5 batteries. Manager stating they dont recycle any batteries. Funny. Ive brought them here before. Edited:. Beatbuy at 13 and Gratiot too then no questions asked

Prices are very, very high. Try to get your stuff anywhere else. A lot of items are double the price of other places like Walmart. The staff seems good, but this massive store is always a ghost town, so they are probably very excited to talk to a customer when they can.

Was in there recently for an office chair. Recently had a back surgery so figured Id pay the $15 for them to put in together. Wouldve been nice it they helped me load it. Store was empty. Lots of staff just standing. Disappointed in the manager.

The woman working the print shop on 1/27/16 at about 6pm was extremely helpful and friendly. So refreshing to work with someone like that on a chilly evening during rush hour. I hope she is commended for her professionalism!
