Do NOT go here and give this sad excuse for a "locally owned" tattoo shop your business. We can start off by saying this would not have been my first tattoo so its not like Im giving them a bad review just to be rude or because I dont know how the tattoo world works. First of all, I called the shop to ask what their minimum is (which they quoted me over the phone of $70) only to get there and have them tell me how easy the tattoo would be, how it would take all of 2 minutes to do but would be $80. Not only were there 3 artists just sitting around playing on their phones but, when I walked in the woman behind the counter was beyond rude with me and had the audacity to tell me on the way out "good luck finding somewhere else to go get it done for less" because I was not pleased with their change in mind on the price. Now get this part, (to the rude woman behind the counter who I am more than thankful did not do my tattoo) I found multiple shops close to town whose prices were better than yours and they were also much more polite. Its sad that a tattoo shop with multiple artists sitting around not making any money would allow a customer to be spoken to and treated that way but also for "business and money to be made" just walk out the door. Ive had tattoos done by American Pride in the past and will promise them this, you will never receive business or a recommendation to anyone from me. No wonder your parking lot is never full (let alone busy) and thank you for being so rude because the best thing that happened to me today was NOT getting tattooed by someone from your shop. DO NOT GO HERE!!! SPEND THE FEW EXTRA DOLLARS IN GAS AND TAKE YOUR BUSINESS SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!

My cousin and I planned for a day to get both of our septums pierced together, we chose the place we wanted to go because it had a very good reputation, unfortunately we were unable to get it pierced at the place we originally wanted because the piercer didnt have the right equipment at the time, but we still wanted to have it done that day. So we decided to go to American Pride Tattoos because we saw it on the way, and decided check it out. There were two guys, both seemed very friendly, after they assured us that they were experienced in septum piercings and that they have been doing it for 5 and 10 years, we decided to have it done there. I went first, and the pain was excruciating. I bled so much it ran down my shirt. After putting the needle through the first time he couldnt get the ring in, so he had to put the needle in A SECOND TIME. It was even worse the second time. My cousin went, she acted like it hurt just as bad as it did for me. We thanked him and left. We thought he knew what he was doing, and we thought the pain was normal. He sort of rushed us out, and didnt even tell us how to take care of it. After getting in the car and looking in the mirror, we realized he pierced OUR CARTILAGE! He did it in the wrong spot, its so low if I were to flip it up you could still see it on the outside of my nose. I have read online on MULTIPLE websites that it is NOT supposed to go through cartilage. Now we are both short $55, and have a terrible looking, painful piercing. We are both going to take it out because it looks so bad. I would not recommend American Pride Tattoos for piercings.

Ive been going to this shop for awhile now, since the first day Ive walk in there they made me feel comfortable. Everyone there is very professional about everything. I didnt really know what I wanted the first time and everyone was so helpful, specially Katrina oke. She had all these drawing an ideas showing me what works an what wont look good on me. Their all Very clean, always great prices and the tattoo speaks for it all. If you want a awesome professional tattoo come to this shop. I promise you wont be disappointed.

Iv never been to such an amazing tattoo shop with high quality equipment with a sterile and clean environment. I admire the artist who work here, between all of them they work as a family and create the most magnificent tattoos iv ever seen in any style art imaginable. They are extremely open minded and are willing to help anyone find the best options for them. I would recommend everyone looking to get a tattoo or any peircings to get them here!

My sisters go to american pride for piercings and tattoos. i have never went yet, just my sisters have but i am going to go soon to get my lip pierced, American prides piercings and tattoos are great. My sisters have never had problems with their piercings and no mess ups with the tattoos.
