Horrible customer service from management. Purchased a grill with a huge dent in it. Of course was the last one in Stock. She then told us, she would have the manager pick one up at another store and bring it in. Never got a phone call. So we checked on the website the next week and they had some more in Stock with a great rebate. So picked up our 2nd grill and had them open up to make sure its not dented. It appeared fine. However, once we got it completely out of the box, it had another huge dent on the front of it where it was covered in Styrofoam. Called the store and the "Manger Dan" was not helpful at all. Pretty much said we had to haul this huge heavy grill (took 3 people to lift) back for the second time and couldnt offer any kind discount or anything on further purchases. At this point, Im going to cancel my big card and will not go there ever again for future purchases. Im sure Lowes or Home Depot will be glad to have me as a customer for all my future purchases. I would give less than one star but it wont let use that as option.

Horrible customer service, manager included. While we were in line at the customer service area getting our receipt corrected from our purchase 1 minute prior, an employee stole our cart of wood. When we asked all the staff behind the customer service area where our cart went, 6 of them just stared at us. My husband ran over to the checkout lines asking for help. Between the manager and over 10 employees witnessing this not ONE employee offered to help. We had to run back to the lumber yard ourselves. When I asked the manager why she and no one helped us, she replied with "well any carts along this wall they are suppose to put away"...apparently that includes customers in line as well. A simple "we are sorry for the Inconvenience" would have sufficed.

Very poor service at the Muskegon store. On numerous occasions I have called to verify they have what I need, only to find out when I get there that they are not only wrong about having it, but they were not even close to having what I asked for. Despite giving them a detailed description of the item. ie. Name with spelling, material made of, shape & color. To top it off, when I talk to the the same person I talked with on the phone I get a very light hearted sorry and off they go on their merry way. It leaves you with the feeling that they dont care and you are wasting their time. So far this attitude has only been with the SOME of the girls working there. Lots of wasted time and money in gas. I just cant afford to go there anymore.

I enjoy going to menards, its like a meijers of home improvements. Big selection of tubs, toilets, sinks you need a garage door, shutters, shingles also their snack food, cat or dog food, bird food. Yeah it may take you a while to look around but thats what happens when you get a variety of products. The staff has been friendly here when ive went in and like some of the other comments they do have to special order some products but come on people....you cant expect them to have every the in stock .......they would have to add a 2x addition to the property. Very happy with the muskegon menards

Just left The lumber yard after spending over 45 minutes asking people where the marine grade plywood that is 60 bucks a sheet was and driving walking around being so frustrated we almost went for a refund. BUT a young man named NICK SAVED THE DAY. he found it and even helped load it up. Thanks to him you got to keep our $500 bucks and get a 5 star review.... Sweet little Schnoodles of Michigan

I am a contractor and have had many many problems with Menards, the Muskegon one anyway. They have sold me the wrong products.Sold me pre opened things that turn out to have parts missing or damaged. Ive had to drive hours to return them with no reimbersment. The lumber yard is a big hassle, Special orders take weeks. I only go there now when the customer demands it

I was in your store yesterday and had an unusual experience for a big box store. As we were looking for things no less then 5 associates asked if we needed any help. Mitch in plumbing was especially helpful and knew what he was talking about. Made our trip to your store enjoyable. Loved the customer service. Way to go.

Never get any help and the lumber yard never has what i want the staff sends me out there after I pay for it just to find out theres none in stock huge waist of time. This has happened over 5 times in the past 3 months. Will not be going back ever again. Home depot is way better with costumer service.

It really is quite simple. Since the day it was opened, Menards in Muskegon has had excellent customer service and great values on most equipment and supply needs. I am not sure that the product quality is always top notch, but I am willing to sacrifice a bit for an enjoyable experience at a store.

Long visit given wrong size boards in yard. It was noticed by yard security during load check had to u strap and unload LG boards for even larger boards. Was told grout was outside in building. It was not, employee had to go back in and all the way to front to get items. Lots of waisted time today.

My husband and I went there to look at a stove. The customer service needs alot of work. Staff not very friendly. We we waiting along with another person. The clerk acted like we were bothering her. Needless to say we didnt buy anything...where has customer service gone...

I spend half hour looking for things I wanted, could not find anything I wanted. Stands and paneling are not user friendly, not cognitively organized, so you have to ask staff for help who are all not available. And you get bad attitude when you are going through cashier.

Lack of communication between departments some products should be put together so employees dont have to lift 440 lbs. 4 people to put a wood splitter on the back of my truck now i have to find someone to help me # products should be customer friendly

Prices are always fair and staff are a great help.... But the store could use better organization. Plumbing parts all scared. Everytime i need tape or a tarp I have to go to paint? Things like that. Could is higher end auto supplies as well.

I bought a screen door for our slider to our deck. I got directions in the store from some very helpful Menards employees. So my time in the store was quick and the purchase was very reasonably priced. Very good experience at Menards.

You can never find anything , and you can never find anyone to help you ! They need to seriously improve their customer service at this location !!! Id rather pay more elsewhere and get great customer service than shop here !

Purchased a kitchen faucet that failed within 9 months of installation. Menards honored the lifetime warranty in store by switching out the malfunctioning component no questions asked. Outstanding customer service.
