As far as the coffee goes, it is about as boring as any old coffee shop that does not really have a passion for coffee. Its not good, its not bad, its just "coffee". The espresso is much better than the filth you get at Starbucks, so it has that going for it. But the real issue here is with the service (and I dont mean the girls are rude, they are, in fact, very friendly). But they can only do so much with what freedom they are given by the owners and that is not much. The saying "just say no" should only refer to doing drugs but NOT to a motto for a coffee shop, and yet this seems to be it for cruise n coffee. The owners are cheap, unaccomodating, and do not put customer service first. They do not give their baristas freedom to be helpful and just say yes to a customers needs. Try ordering a 16 oz beverage in a 12 oz cup (less milk basically). They CANNOT do this. It is utterly impossible. They will be fired immediately. If you have a coupon for a free latte with flavor, you may NOT order it without a flavor, even though this saves them money. So, if you never want anything done to your specific needs, or have any preferences, it should be fine. If you have preferences, they will not accomodate you.

I would have to also add to this review that the owners are indeed a couple of very dim watts. Theyre cheap and pretentious. Pathetic, if you will. I have also had the unfortunate displeasure of knowing them. I also would like to add that the training recieved by the "baristas" if you could call them that, is BEYOND sub par. The other day I watched in horror as one of them completely dilluted my iced latte with too much milk, which then, of course, didnt all fit in the cup. So half of my espresso was left-over in her little mixer. Then she proceeds to charge me the full 5 dollars or whatever ridiculous price it was for a latte with half the espresso. Is this rocket science???? HARDLY. But no one has taught them any better, and that is the real tragedy here.

The girls that work there are all so friendly and accommodating. I went there once on a Monday, and came back a week and a half later on a Wednesday and the girl remembered my drink exactly! The coffee and specialty lattes are excellent and I havent been any where else where the baristas genuinely care about their customers day to day lives.

Am I the only one that only asks for a little cream/one spoon of cream in their coffee? I end up with a large cup of hot milk and a spoon of coffee. This company could make even more money if they taught these people how to measure instead of pour cream/milk. Coffee is not WHITE!

We always stop here when in Marquette. My favorite drink is always perfect. Its hard to find a CONSISTENTLY made drink at any coffee shop,, and it is here. Their prices are better than Starbucks and Biggbys too. Thumbs up for all the sweet girls who make my drink.

I agree with Julie. I have had the misfortune of meeting the owner, whos reputation is just as bad as his attitude, and if it wernt for the overly nice girls at the 3rd street shop, I would rather drink crappy folgers coffee than help stimulate his business.

I am a coffee lover and stop here frequently. Besides the lattes being excellent, The girls that work are absolutely personable, accommodating and friendly. I wish they carried sugar in the raw but besides that, I will be a long time customer!
