Had to wait on Kaelyns list for 2 years before I had to call THEM to wait another few months for a consult. Got one consult in and scheduled a second consult for later as she drew stuff up and 2 tattoo days. Showed up for the second and due to unforseen circumstances she wasnt able to make it in, which is totally forgivable in my book. Whats not forgivable is not hearing anything for the next month with my first tattoo day fast approaching. Kept calling and stopping by getting told it she was working on it still. So Im not exactly sure what I was going to be shown had she been able to be there for the second consult...This went on and on. And mind you, this is my first tattoo, Im not confident about this to begin with. Let alone not seeing any sort of artwork until the day before it was supposed to be permanently on my body. And that was only because I stopped in for I think the 5th time and left my email so I could try to see SOMETHING before the day. And needless to say it looked kind of rushed and not very close to what I had asked for. I felt bad doing it, but I canceled day of because I was not about to put that on me and wed have to start from scratch to get it right which would mean dealing with the same experience all over again. Id really like to get something done there eventually cuz theyre very nice people and amazing artists, just not very organized.

By far the most skilled, professional, and cleanest place Ive ever been to! I flew all the way from Texas to come here. Well mainly to see Stephanie Lane. Ive been to many tattoo parlors, and her work is second to none. I came to see her for a full sleeve, and we accomplished this in 4 all day sittings. All back to back to back to back. The attention to detail, professionalism, and overall tattoo experience was perfect. All 4 days she was on point, weather it was helping with the design, prep work, or just the happy customer service she was on top of it. If you are looking for amazing art work, a clean environment, and great customer service Stephanie Lane at honest to goodness is your "must" go to place. When you do call, be prepared to set your appointment up further down the line. I waited 6 months, but when something is on your body for the rest of your life, 6 months is pitty. I will be defiantly be going back for more work.

A friend of mine got me a set of plugs from Honest to Goodness and mentioned George had told him I could come in and get stretched for free if needed. I stopped by and George was amazingly helpful. Even though he was working with someone else he was quick to say hello and at least get me on the right track. He explained everything thoroughly (without making it sound like he thought I didnt know what I was talking about or being condescending). He even made recommendations to help me with my industrial piercing (not done with them- much to my regret!) Now Im just looking for an excuse to go back!

Kaylin is absolutely amazing. She is an amazing artist, shop owner and professional. She was recommended by a co-worker of mine and am so thankful to have found her. I had a not so lovely tattoo on my forearm that Kaylin was able to turn into a piece that I am now proud to show off. I also had a completely awful tattoo on my ankle that Kaylin is in the process of turning into a beautiful piece of art. She is a true artist. I recommend Honest To Goodness Tattoo hands down. The shop is in an old building on Monroe and just has a cool feel to it. Love, Love, Love this place!

Was put on a waiting list for a tattoo by Kaelyn. The shop told me the wait was 9-12 months. Accepted that. Called every 5-6 months for a status update. There was a conflict that pushed the wait out another few months. Accepted that. At 1 year and 3 months of waiting, I was told that the waiting list was being dissolved and to expect a phone call from the artist within a couple of weeks. That was 2 months ago, I have called twice more, and have received no info or call back at all.

I have never had a bad experience here and I love coming here. I have gone to Tiffany twice and she has beyond met my expectations and i receive the best compliments from people about her work on my leg all the time. She adds her own very unique style to each tattoo and Ive never seen a tattoo done by her that I wasnt stoked on. She takes the ideas you have and puts both of your idea and her style into one. I am excited to go back in two weeks for my next tattoo by Tiffany! (:

I cant say enough good things about this Tattoo Shop ... the artists are super talented and super genuine people, the studio itself is very cool esthetically and very clean. I have more friends than I can remember who have gotten a tattoo or two (or more) here. Anytime anyone compliments my tattoo, I make sure to let them know where I got it and where they should go if they want something amazing. Seriously. Such an awesome place.

Wow, beautiful shop...clean, modern, very welcoming. Second I came in with the wife for us both to get our daith pierced and were helped by Nicole! Wow, so smart, very thorough and very respect. I really wanted a different ringg, though was advised not to go for that style until after the healing processs as it would make it worse. Thank you Nicole, you will see us again!

I will never ever ever ever go anywhere else. Even if I move out of state... they wont get rid of me. Clean... perfect... funny.... I recommend them to anyone who is serious about a tattoo... not the typical Jesus fish ones... they are way too talented for that. If they cant get you in for 3 months... who cares... wait for perfection. promise. Cant rave enough.

I will only go to Honest to goodness now. i have tattoos by Kaelyn and Mark and both experiences where wonderful! the staff is extremely professional but friendly and personable. i always recommend people to go here for their next tattoo and i get questions about who did mine all the time. best in Michigan in my opinion.
