In Detroit from Atlanta for the Detroit Jazz Festival. Heard about the Midnight Social Tasting fundraiser for the festival foundation. My friends and I dropped by... I tasted and learned about pinot noir, chardonnay, and malbec. It was so cool with a DJ and everything. The atmosphere was relaxed and not your usual wine snob energy. The Master Sommelier was their too. The staff was friendly and reflective of Detroit pride! I also bought a t-shirt that said "Wine Lova and a few other wine accessories too. Overall wonderful experience.

My fiance and I were looking for quality champagne for our upcoming wedding and found a great selection here in their champagne room. The co-owner was so kind and gave us a few recommendations that I think will fit the occasion perfectly. The shop is gorgeous and offers a selection that we were unable to find in the places we looked in beforehand. Highly recommend!

This is a great new addition to the emerging Woodward Avenue scene. The owner is passionate about a lot of things: Detroit reniassiance, good design, community, and - most importantly - great wines. Even if you dont drink, you should stop in and say hello. If you do like wine, you will find a world class selection and something to suit your palate.

Visiting Detroit with friends for the Detroit Jazz Festival became even more FABULOUS when we stepped into the House of Pure Vin... Had an Awesome Wine Tasting last night with live music... The staff was Incredible and lets not forget the wine... I had one of the BEST tastings of a Gerard Bertrand Chardonnays... Can we say buttery/oak yummy

They have the best wine tasting. I love that they are free. My husband and I never walk away with out buying a few bottles. The staff is nice and knowledgeable. We always learn so much about different wines when we attend the wine tasting events. This place is sure to find you the best wine for your palette.

Great selection of wines of all varieties and prices. But the staff, free wine tastings (with guests and owners of wineries!), monthly club, and small-business feel are the real highlights. Champagne room in the back, but dont be afraid to try something from a new region!

Detroit has another jewel. Warm greetings from Owner, featured Vintners and staff who were all knowledgeable and made everyone feel at home. James and Dawn (Wyncroft Vineyards) love their craft (wine :) and Ms. Claudia (Sommelier) is a delight.
