I dont buy any meat from there. I Dont trust it. Prices are sky high ($3.99 sometimes $4.99 for a gallon of milk). Store roof leaks by the bacon sausage section. Good for quick pick up/missing ingredient. Go to Kroger/Walmart/Meijer. I only purchase awesomely priced on-sale, sealed items from them. Bread, cookies (sky high), sugar, soda, and fresh vegetables that I can see, smell and feel as well. Beware. Frozen items are often out of date. I have found more than 10 items in the past 6 months that were out of date. I was really upset about the $2.50 yoders macaroni salad where the plastic seal was broken when I got home--wasted. Check out is pretty good, shelves are fronted and faced well, floors are decently clean. Management is okay, however you have to wonder about the Middle eastern immigrant taking advantage of the African American community dynamic-(price gouging, poor selection/poor quality, a "fee for everything" type business that fleeces the poor). They need all new coolers and bins as they are the same ones from when the store was Farmer Jack from eons ago. Again, beware of that meat. AND CHECK THE DATES ON EVERYTHING!!!!

This is a real midtown Detroit grocery store. Theyve put a lot of work into the place over the past few months. Its looking a lot nicer than it used to. If you live in the neighborhood and need staples, this is the place. Whole Foods is cool but why pay their prices for non-perishables? And why drive miles and miles to a suburban supermarket? Yes, Virginia, Detroit really does have grocery stores and this is one of them.

Good location and decent prices for being where it is. Presentable and neat, just a simple grocery store in the city. It isnt as expensive as Whole Foods down the street and not as sketchy or funky like your average party shop/convience store around the city.

Low-quality products. Cashiers are just loud, weird, rude and ignorant. Bought some shrimp once. Made a hole in the cover. It smelled like garbage. Had to return it. Saw that crappy package with that hole on the seafood aisle two days after I returned it!!!

Best grocery store in town. Competitive prices & range of products. Did their best job in renovating the entire outer building.

Employees are very rude and slow! Most of the products dont have expiration date and those with expiration date are expired!

Love the new remodel, moderate prices for midtown. It is the run to, when we need something we forgot.
