Im a twice per month shopper for a few decades, Ive added a couple dozens pictures of the meats and deli. I just dont understand why so few reviews as this is the oldest, largest Supermercado in SW D. Look at the menu of tacos and many foods made while you wait. See the signs of the whole hogs, lambs and the fish selection pictures. The always great old time friendly service along with the freshest meat at the best prices in town is well worth a visit. Ive had many friends sign up on there site for a free once a month mailer thats loaded with super low price special and always a free bread or bacon just to get you in the door. I like to shop on Wednesdays as you get double points for all the great cooking items place around the store. This week I picked up a free lemon squeezer that was priced at $ 3.99. When in SW D this is a must try recession buster stop and you gotta try the Chicago style charizo @ only $ 2.19 per pound Wow what a great everyday price. See the pictures of the marinated meats, always a dozen types of chicken,beef and pork products to throw on the grill. I picked up 10 pounds of boneless marinated chicken breasts for only $ 1.69 lb for tonights grilling pleasure.

Love this place been coming here for many years....(when it was just a small market.) ..I am amazed at how big they have grown..and quality still remains awesome...although you must have patience, and be able to handle ( not so friendly service or other shoppers)..sometimes its so busy not all are friendly...make sure your item is priced properly with coupons etc...and that you leave with all items..cant say enough about the variety and quality..

Good prices in this Latino market for meats, cheeses, fresh produce, and lunches to go. Lemons, Limes, and avocados are fresh and better prices than a chain grocery. Meat counter specials are worth the drive. Only gets a 4 because the parking lot is small and lack of cart return. Shoppers leave their carts in the lot instead of returning them to the store.

I Love E&L best supermarket around except a lot of products are a bit pricey. Very clean organized fresh food and produce. I love getting most of my meats from here. They also sell some DELICIOUS HOT/COOKED TAMALES. Theyre my favorite! I definitely recommend this store especially for those looking for hard to find Spanish cooking ingredients.
