Let me just start by saying this is the first business in my entire life that Ive ever felt was worth writing a negative review for. (This was completely worth the 15 minutes it took to write just because of how ridiculous the story). Clueless... When I first went into this store to buy a set of Mich Super Sport tires I was greeted nicely and got a sales person right away, this was Jeff, one of the managers. These tires were for an aftermarket set of wheels and I explained that throughly and gave all correct wheel specs and offsets. I was told by Jeff that I can easily fit a 275 rear tire width on my car and will have no issues, I went with a 265 just to be safe so I do not get any rubbing/clearance issues. (My original plan was to get 255s but was confident in the 265s after being told a 275 will give me no issues). Not only did I wait 2 and a half hours to mount up four wheels and tires but after they finish I ask if there is any clearance issues before I drive away on them after they close- was told "they are replica OEM wheels so there is no issues"... This was completely wrong and I shouldve questioned it at that point. As I drive off, my entire drive home my car was almost undriveable as the rear tires were rubbing extremely bad... - to try and solve the issue on my own I got the rear fenders rolled and still had clearance issues. Resulting in me calling DT and asking if I can have these tires swapped for a less wide tire (255) as this was their fault. They agreed and ordered the tires for me. Tires arrive and I go there to get them mounted, they mount a single 255 on one of the wheels and then come and talk to me and tell me "there is not much of a difference with these" I asked if I could come check them out on the car and was told that they already started mounting the 265s back onto the car- completely trying to avoid giving them to me. They re-mount the 255s after a few requests - brought me out to the garage and checked them over with me. The manager (Jeff) and one of the employees inspect the tires with me and both agree that they "look the same as the other ones"... Theyre 10mms different... curious if they know how tire sizes work? After all this I explain I want them even if the issue still occurs because it will not be as bad as it is currently. Then they try getting me to pay for them!! These guys are so unorganized and just do not want to help out a customer. Lack of service, lack of knowledge and unprofessional. By the way, the 255s ended up being the perfect size and fixed my clearance issues.

Im not sure about other Discount Tire stores, but do not go to this location for any reason. I went to this store to patch a tire and have my tires rotated. The employee initially told me that there would be no charge to perform these services. Afterwards, he informed me that my tire could not be patched because it was supposedly eroded and that I had to buy a new tire. I asked him to put my "eroded" tire back on so I could take it to another store to patch it. He told me that he is not allowed to put the tire back on or even inflate it. I told him that I did not want to buy a tire. He then told me that I had to. So to get my car back, I eventually bought the new tire. He never fully explained how the tire went flat in the first place. The whole thing seems shady, but I was in a hurry to get my car back and be able to safely drive it. I only live a couple of minutes away from this location, but I will never visit it again.

A bunch of crooks work here, i bought road hazard on my tires about 4 months ago, the person(antonio) i bought the road hazard from told me it will transfor to the new tire if i ever use it and everything will be free of charge, so i have to use my road hazard on one of my tires. One of my new co-workers who was a manager at discount told me that they are going to screw with u,and he told me a bunch of other schemes the pull to get you to buy new tire and more expencive tires. But anyway I get to the store and guess what they screwed me(same salesman). He told me if i want to get my new tire i would have to buy new road hazard on my new tire or they would charge me $20 to mount my new tire thats the only way i get my new tire. So much for no charge replacement on ur new tires. So i will never get a new set of tire from discount tire, ever again.

The staff has been friendly, helpful, and patient each time weve visited. Theyve given advice based on our needs (both for our wallets and our cars) and make sure to point out opportunities for us to save money or to receive rebates. I recently had to return because my tire pressure sensors were not working and was promptly taken care of. They honored the warranty on the sensors and actually replaced them with a higher quality sensor at no cost to ensure that I wouldnt encounter the same problem. PLUS they are always willing to fill my tires with air. The only downside is that they are too popular for the amount of staff and space they have. I have seen an awfully long wait develop in the store, even for something as small as filling tires with air.

I was visiting from out of town and got a flat tire(a piece of aluminum was in the tread). After waiting almost an hour I was told that my tire could not be plugged and they tried to sell me a new tire. Thankfully they didnt have the tire I needed in stock because I went right over to Belle Tire and they plugged my tire and had me back on the road in 20 minutes! I havent had any problems yet with the tire and I have driven all they to S. Carolina and back. Thanks Belle Tire for saving me $230 and not trying to rob me! This Discount Tire is full of it!! STAY AWAY!!!

I was/am beyond impressed with the service and speed of this place. I am knowledgable of what I needed as Im an off-road enthusiast. They had what I wanted/needed in stock and had solid rebates that beat everyone elses price. I have told others how great of work they do and will be buying snow tires next week. The manager when finished even texted pics and test drove my jeep making sure all was solid! Its rare to find a place that delivers like they do! If your debating on going there dont- they will take good care of you/and your vehicle!

I am giving this location 3 starts because they rotate my tires, fix my flats when I need them to. However, when it comes to buying tires, they wont give you the best deal when compared to other discount tire locations. My last 3 set of tires were from a different discount tire location. I always buy my tires from discount tire, but not this Dearborn location. Also, when buying a set of tire call more than 1 discount tire location and I am sure they will give you a better deal than the first location you visited/called.
