The lines are absolutely horrible. THE Walmart in Monroe consistently is under staffed on registers. I wait in line for 15 minutes at times for 4 items. It has gotten to the point I refuse to shop at Walmart. In addition the customer service desk has to be one of the most unprofessional mismanaged group of individuals I have had to do business with. My 13 YO daughter received an iphone case that was for a 6 she has a 6S plus. Obviously it will not fit. After checking the price between the two they were both the same. We went and asked at the service desk if we could do an even exchange but for an iPhone 6Splus. The service employee was rude to my daughter which I heard while standing off to the side. At which time I asked what she was supposed to do. It was a gift from her Aunt. The employee called over the manager. She then in a very rude tone "you do not have a receipt and for all we know you could have never of purchased it". I calmly stated what do you recommend for her to do? She stated "return it to the store in California where you purchased it". I laughed and said you are so smart. What a great idea. I went to Walmart in Woodhaven, Mi. The entire experience was more than satisfactory. The case was exchanged and it was handled in a professional way. I am certain most stores are run in a much better fashion. However, Monroe is full of ignorance. So heaven forbid if you have to deal with anyone who fits that discription!

The store is always clean and well stocked and usually has everything I am shopping for..The majority of clothing is fashionable and nice and there is a great selection of childrens/infant items as well as toys that are reasonably priced. There are usually always a good selection of clearance items also. My Wallmart Savings Catcher app also checks to see that I am getting the best deal . There are a few not so great areas though. Many times there are only one or 2 checkout lanes open at Monroe Mi. store meaning it is backed up really bad at times. Just a couple weeks ago. It was backed up really bad and an employee came to line with a basket full of stuff. (did not look like lunch or break type stuff) A manager kept everyone else who jumped in this line waiting when she left after ringing this employee up.SHE SERIOUSLY LEFT OTHERS WHO HAD MOVED TO THAT LANE STANDING THERE AND LEFT.

Walmart has a scam going on to falsely arrest people on as many bs charges as they possibly can. My mother has memory issues and has been going to a doctor for this for several years. A year ago, she accidentally started to leave Walmart without paying for some good that she simply forgot to pay for it. She was stopped before even exiting the door and when she realized what she had done she offered immediately to go back to the register and pay for the goods but that apparently wasnt good enough for Walmart. On top of that I also know somebody who was arrested for shoplifting simply because their child had put a toy in the cart that the mother had not realized he put in the cart and Walmart employees told her that she was shoplifting.

This is a fairly typical Walmart. There are a concerning amount of facial cameras near the personal products and pharmacy. I normally dont notice it particularly care about security cameras but there are maybe 12 face level cameras with TVs showing your face. I find that to be obnoxious as a paying customer. Other than that the staff has been helpful and the selection is great. I noticed the items listed online cost significantly less, so purchasing online or saving the items in your Walmart app cart can save you money if you show the cashier the price difference. I find that to be a little deceitful. The prices need to be the same in store as online.

This is by far the least helpful and most frustrating Walmart I have ever been to. Whether you go there day or evening they seem to never have more than 2 check out lines open. And as for the customer service counter, dont even dream of returning anything cause they are short staffed as well. More than once I have had things forgotten even though I have specifically asked the cashier. When I called to inquire about my items I was told to keep my receipt and "MAYBE" they can do something about it. The few times I am in town and have to shop here I usually end up sorry I did!

Had a cart full of stuff and the only thing open was the self scan. Six cashiers standing around doing nothing watched me walked up. I have physical limitations and was struggling and none of them offered to help me. They wdre too busy chit chatting and wathcung me. Machine kept malfunctioning. The cashier with long purple hair clearly had an attitude over the fact that she had to press a button on the screen on her end to clear it. Stood around talking instead of assisting customers. Could learn a thing or two about customer service. Absolutely ridiculous.

This Wal-Mart is just ok to me because I really do not like the parking set-up or the the entrance. Living South of the store makes entering and exiting the store very inconvenient with their one entry/exit thats all the way at the north end of the store. Because of that I often just go to Meijer. Parking is at an angle and very tight! However, I do like the Vision Center. And some of their prices are lower. But Im also not fond of the "L" shape for their grocery section. Things are a bit hard to find with that layout.

I was going to grab some Halloween candy for my children, when I was greeted with the floor covered with candy, and a small child shouting "Nobody can stop me!", the sight was horrific, as he was shoving candy into his mouth, shouting, and ripping candy from the shelves, and no workers were doing anything! I was disappointed to find that Meijers was sold out, so I have to travel to a dollar store, wasting my gas, just because nobody would calm an insecure child.

I walked out after waiting 10 mins in check out just to be told a boss was coming for some reason it wasnt moving,3 other check out were open, left the cart sitting there with about 85 dollars worth in it went down the street to Meijers, I know my little 8t dollars worth isnt much compared to the billions someone is putting in their pockets but man its make ya mad,25 check outs and 4 open 6 people deep

Worse walmart in the world...had a return she sent us to get new item and then closed before we returned and did not even have the decency to tell us she was closing soon. The checkout lanes were all closed except for 2 of them on a Friday really pay day and only 2 checkout lanes. Poor management bad scheduling and rude employees. We will not be doing any more shopping at this store in our future!

I live Walmart. They have the best prices and the very best return & warranty policies! 90 return on ANY electronic & If you buy a $500 LCD SMART TV the Warranty is only about $35.00 for 3 years & it Covers absolutely EVERYTHING! You could kick a hole through it after 2 & a ½ years & get a new, upgraded, better TV than you started with. They are awesome!
