Went in looking to buy some liquor, compared their prices against an item I happened to know state minimum price for, a 750ml bottle of chivas regal 12 year. State minimum price is $29.99, their price is $55. I know that sometimes stores will add a markup, but an 80% increase over competitors because youre selling to college students who dont know any better is pretty messed up. Edit: turns out the owner responds to criticism like a middle schooler by calling me a weirdo, and isnt very good at shopping for prices, claiming the best he found was 49.99, considering I have purchased that bottle for 29.99 at Buschs in Ann Arbor (see attached image of the price tag)
