Inept. Went in with my contractor to place a large order for fencing and was passed off twice by associates who announced they were going home. Third associate was sweet, but didnt know how to place a special order because it was only his third day. He took down a list of what we needed and promised to have someone look into it. I was embarrassed to have wasted my contractors time and also confused as to why there was not anyone available who couldve helped. Contacted customer service and was put in touch with an associate who promised to handle the quote and offer contractor pricing because of the volume of the order. At first the associate argued the fencing I wanted wasnt available in different heights but when I pushed back, he was able to find the correct product. The quote I later received was significantly HIGHER than if I just ordered everything myself from their website. When I questioned it, I was sent a new quote which was on par with online pricing. Customer service offered to clarify the quote as it did not reflect contractor pricing, but did not get back to me in the time frame that was promised. Decided to order fencing through my contractor despite the extra expense because Home Depot had proven themselves to be too unreliable and incompetent.

Bought a refrigerator online from them. Needed to tweak the order and remove old appliance pickup option. Spent about 15 minutes on their 800 number to finally have it (never a human, always an automated system) to tell me to call the local store. Called the local store for customer service on the online order. Immediately put on hold. After 5 minutes talked to someone in appliances. They said I had to wait until the fridge was delivered, then drive into the store with all my paperwork, and they would refund me then. I personally think thats quite unreasonable. People order stuff online to not go to the store, and expect to be supported online.

The store is clearly understaffed. I stood at the PRO desk for over 15 minutes to get acknowledged while the 2 overwhelmed employees averted their eyes. Finally I had to interrupt to get noticed and was told to hold on as they were tied up. They clearly dont have enough help for the work load. I was told that I would be called with a timeframe of delivery for a $3000+ delivery of lumbar, and they never called. Just left the stuff in my driveway in the rain. When I called to ask, they said they were too busy to make phonecalls. I am taking my business to Lowes or elsewhere. I suggest you do the same.

I placed a large order over a month ago, and received the wrong materials. I have called the store multiple times trying to get the right materials delivered, and have yet to have the delivery completed. I have spent over 5 cumulative hours on the phone dealing with this order (mostly on hold). I will not be making any more large orders with Home Depot; they just cant seem to figure it out. Update: I was able to go on to Lowes website and order everything I needed, with delivery without having to call in to anyone. Ill definitely be using Lowes in the future.

Steve in the lighting department is one of the rudest staff members you could ever come in contact with. He was very rude and unprofessional when I asked him where to find something in his department. I went To the supervisor on duty about my experience with Steve and the supervisor said to me "oh hes just grumpy. Hes also grumpy to us." Totally unacceptable when your job is to help a customer purchase something whitin your store. There are a few good workers there. But most are rude and not very helpful. I will take my business elsewhere from now on.

Always finding helpful people at this store, I had 10 plywood sheets cut and Marcus was absolutely amazing and extremely helpful. I kept going back and could not find him. I went back again last weekend to get some items and paint, no one was at the counter, one of the employees was off the clock and called his son Luis to help even though he does not work in that department. He was very patient while I was trying to find the shade I needed. Thank you guys you are the best.

A busy Home Depot. Other than that pretty standard, staff is helpful. Slightly more difficult to get to as you have to loop around Gold Star Blvd as the two directions are separated by buildings but certainly not something that will keep you away. Parking lot is narrow by the entrance but long so you might find yourself walking a bit during busy times.

Three straight delivery orders either didnt show up, didnt show up on time, or didnt have all the materials. If you are in the business of real estate development and need supplies delivered when a supplier says it will be then dont use this home depot (worcester). Ive been told that Home Depot in Saugus is the best bet.

I love Home Depot so am giving the company itself a 3 stars rating. The stores around me are horrible due to lack of employees. It takes more time to find someone for help than it does to shop. As big as these places are it amazes me how pitiful their staff is.

I bought a washer on 11/29 which the first delivery date was not until 12/13, but on 12/13 theres no washer, I tried calling every number, even went into the store but no one knows nothing , including manager Mike Hepfer. So Im waiting for the unknown

Staff not knowledgeable and inattentive to customers, I waited 35 minutes for some to help me after being sent on goose chase, the guy at customer service "David" was rude and not helpful. I wont be coming back to this store.

Sub-par customer service. When I finally found someone to help they had no idea where anything was. At checkout I asked how the warranty on the grill I bought works and was told by the clerk "that should be obvious." Rude!
