Ran in to grab some 2 x 4s took approximately 3 minutes, walked past a customer checking out when I walked in. Same customer still checking out, another customer behind them with huge order and two younger children, then myself and another customer behind me with one item - a grill. Customer asked struggling cashier if anyone could be paged. Other end of registers there are three employees that are there to help would-be, self checkout customers if there were any. They all see the line hoping it disappears by itself. Fifteen minutes goes by, customer with grill behind me pushes his carriage and leaves it at register and walks out. Five minutes after he leaves and several others employees walk past the ladies at the self checkout ask someone whos shift was over to punch back in and help. Finally someone says one of the girls at the self checkout can help me. Customer service at its worse. People looking to spend money, no one around willing to take it.

Bought a whirlpool Washing machine, Delivered today and it doesnt work. Spent 46 minutes on the phone with WP. Spent the same as mount of time on the phone with Home Depot, no help at all. The last major appliance I ever buy from them. Going to Lowes, at least they dont pass the buck when something happens.
