I decided to give this local market a try aince it was privately owned and not the franchise giant a few towns over. I wish I hadnt wasted my time or my money. The bread I purchased was stale and crumbled upon preparation. The rice stays with a bite after lengthy soaking and is completely flavorless although it is a known brand. The apices I have purchased are completely flavorless and even using a 1/4 measure on gharam masala, coriander and cumin each, the flavors imparted on just 1 lbs of veg or chciken are mediocre at best. The product seems to have had a very cushy shelf life. The management refused to return or exchange my product as " if they had to do this for everyone they would go out of business" Awesome! Nothing like living the American dream! As much as I hate supporting the man, at least the man stands behind its product.

I mistakenly brought the expired Nanak Rasmalai from this store, its my fault too I should have checked the dates. But its their mistake too they should have sold the expired items. Next day I went there to return it. Cashier who was working there ( seemed like owner) was not even sorry for selling expired item. Instead she was like why did you opened it and asked for the reciept ( which I had). That represent bad customer service which is very common at cheap Indian grocery store. Unfortunately there are only 2 Indian grocery store in Norwood and the other one shiva bazar is even worst in terms of customer service. All I ask them to do their job properly and be nice to people..... But again watch out for their products and dont forget to check the dates..

They have expired items in the store should be very careful when we buy from them. This happens for the second time in a month to me. People in the store are so irresponsible towards this. If this happens to continue then will be reporting regarding this to the county of health department!

I go mostly during weekday mornings. The store is very well organized and kept clean. They have everything I need (except meat) with fair pricing. Due to stocking a large selection they have brand choices on most things. I find the staff always helpful and pleasant. Great store!!!

Music is always playing way too loud, its a grocery store not a club. Things are hard to find. Bit expensive than other options in the area bit they do have a good variety of Indian spices.
