Despite 3 1/2 MONTHS of trying to straighten the health care coverage, mandated by law, I still am not covered. I have done hard copy mail correspondence. I have done MY part electronically. I have gone IN PERSON & was ASSURED that I was covered. ELEVEN TIMES IN PERSON. Only be told that I have to call this one & that one & this one again & THAT one again. I have a PMH of petite mal seizures & atrial fibrillation, hospitalized THREE times for it AFTER I was initially told that I was "all set". Know how much that costs? Anyway, I went down to Walgreens in Gloucester to pick up my prescriptions the other night. I was refused, not by the staff, but by the Godless Entity known as MassHealth. Again. I went over to the local office for the ELEVENTH time, was told that I was "all set" AGAIN only to find out that that was NOT the case. I was refused AGAIN. I was pretty hot, trying to keep a lid on my anger. I made myself clear to the staff, and the young lady waiting on me did the best that she could, and eventually someone who I assume was in charge of things came over and spent a solid 15 minutes trying to sort things out for me. This, while other people getting waited on were busy blowing their own stacks at the counter help for their own reasons (one elderly woman was venting her frustration with her doctors office at your staff). I asked Mike (Andioletti? spelling?) if hed prefer that I stepped aside being that my issue was NOT with the pharmacy, and he was adamant that I stay right there while he did the best that he could for me. Not only did he manage to correct some information that MassHealth screwed up (despite the TWO DOZEN times I dealt with them & had to keep re-verifying my contact info), but he filled my much needed medication, enough to get me through for the time being. All the while the counterpeople were really getting it from others. The whole crew down there should get Purple Hearts. Dealing with people who arent in their best spirits & vent their frustrations at those who are there to truly help. First class customer service.

Its generally well stocked with a wide variety of stuff. Generally the pharmacy is on its game but their are times when it can be very busy. If you like to people watch go their late at night or after hours when it gets really entertaining.

As if the prices arent above and beyond reasonable, theyll overcharge you because advertised items ring up at regular prices..... When I was charged 69 cents by the clerk to price check an item, that was it for me ever shopping here again

So me and my 2 homie Gs were just at ya know looking fo stuff in the toy isle and this girl walks up to us and kicks us out for no reason Im thinking of sueing ya know. If u ask me I think thats a little disrespectful we are only kids

Thank God for Walgreens! 24/7. Needed emergency stuff many times with little kids in the middle of the night. Good stuff for the beach in the summertime too! Better than the CVS on Main St. More selection!

Possibly the worst customer service experience you can receive. It shouldnt take 20+ minutes to pick up passport photos. No employees around, other than one cashier in the middle of the afternoon.
