i went into this store to warn my mom about a sociopath in dental school who exposed me to excessive radiation. i told them that i needed a hero go pro camera so that i can put the discussion on youtube. i know they would try to cover up the situation and be mean to me. so i am going to tell the law firm i worked for. i told the att representative that my uncle invented the lottery systems and my other uncle wrote and produced the tv show married with children. it is very hard for me to write a resume. and they dont want to hire after the job interview because i outdo them or my shoe is 1/2 size big and squeaks when i am walking to the job interview. maybe my handbag is wrong. and maybe they dont like because who knows. i think is stupid for people to think they can get away with being psychos in medicine law and nursing when there is big data. big data. att big data. you piss off big datas friends. my moms friend was on the board of att. she might know someone over there. so it is stupid to piss off big data. this store is really good. they treat you a lot better than the suspicious verizon people down the street. sprint is no longer unlimited data. i can my sprint no contract phone transferred to att and get unlimited data. i had to tell the truth that i am homeless but my family you know. can i walk their dogs? i want to get a google review point. i will not allow anyone to X-ray me. i will not sign over my rights for medical care to medical students. i mean come on they think are so smart that is dumb. without the equipment they would stick a popsicle stick in our mouths that is stupid these days are crazy anyway

Horrendous customer experience. I called a half hour before going to the store to make sure they had the phone I wanted in stock. Upon arriving and going through the process of making sure my phone was eligible for an upgrade (which it was) I was then pressured into signing up for their Next program which I did not want. The frustrated sales person then went to retrieve my phone and like magic, all of a sudden they didnt have the phone in stock. He wasnt going to get the amount of commission he wanted because I didnt want Next so he lies to me, tell me its out of stock and sends me on my way. Probably the least mature action Ive encountered since elementary school. I walked 5 doors down to the Apple store and talked with a gentleman there who advised against me doing the Next upgrade without me even prompting him to do so. The experience there was excellent and I recommend anyone in the Boston/Boylston Street area to go to the near by Apple store instead of this terrible AT&T store.

This place doesnt even deserve a star to be honest. I told the rep. (Craig) that I spoke on the phone with a sales person and knew exactly what I wanted in adding another line to my plan. Long story short. He said they didnt have the capability at the store that someone over the phone had and that I would have to call in to get the plan I was looking for. Soon as I walked out of that store, I knew he was full of it. We went to the store in Brookline on Beacon Street and was greeted by a very professional rep., and he did exactly what Craig at the Boyston location said wasnt possible. Quite infuriating to know that someone is too lazy or incompetent to do their job correctly. I do not recommend going to this location if you are looking to get good service. You might even get fooled into something thats not beneficial since Craig was trying to sell me on things that I told him I knew would cost me more money in the long run. Good luck to anyone that walks in there.

Walked in to a huge group of employees in a circle - No greeting, nothing. Finally got the attention of a worker who changed his attitude when he found out all I wanted was an upgrade. After discussing with him and the store manager, they said a larger selection of phones were at Apple a few blocks away. I told them repeatedly that I was on the Next Plan - I needed to pay off a small balance to get to the upgrade and return the phone to AT&T....I was told three times "oh they do this now, Apple will take care of you." 30 minutes later I received the answer I knew I would get - Apple does not take care of early Next plans because 1) the payment is to AT&T and 2) I have to return the phone, Apple cannot return it. Lazy workers at this AT&T store. State of the art store with people who only want commissions on new contracts and do not want to deplete their inventory.

I am compelled to write this review because I had a very bad experience at this AT&T store. The rep was in a hurry and was not listening at all and just wanted to sell his product. I was offered free tablet with the I-phone, he assured me that it is totally free and we will not charge you a penny, later on my monthly bill I got the activation charges and monthly ATT fee for that tablet. I called the helpline to cancel that service they said well charge you about $ 150 to cancel that service. I said what the hell ?, although they waived the activation fees but I m paying the monthly extra fees even without using that tablet. Very bad customer service, I would highly recommend to buy directly from the apple shop and do not go there.

they never... ever... ever... answer the phone. ever. the worst. we tried for two hours to reach the store to see if they had an item in stock since the store is far. we finally gave in, made the trip to the store and unfortunately, the item we needed was not in stock, which we could have determined had they simply answered the phone. a few months later, again, multiple calls to store no asnwer. The actual staff are friendly and helpful in person, but they need to do something about their deplorable phone response at this location. i dont know... ATT makes billions off us, its customers, you think they could hire someone to answer the phone? ridiculous.

I dont know what the fuzz is about, but this place was actually nice. Sure there could be more phones to choose from but the stuff was very attentive and helpful in every way! Just got my phone changed and they even helped me get instant discount without waiting for retail! If you are complaining about service, then let me tell you, theres an opinion for everybody, because ATT hasnt flawed on me yet (I used to be T-mobile, and my wireless service was bad). Anyway, just dont get carried away by the low rating and actually try to do business there... they actually help in your phone problems!

Its a cell phone store, so the expectations are minimal to start. Theres always a ton of staff here, but they seem to work so slowly (or need to consult with each other) that youd be better off doing everything online. I overheard a few other conversations that all sounded pretty scammy (oh, you can cancel that later if you dont like it...well you signed up for that tablet data plan, so...). In the end we had to walk down to the apple store to have them fix what AT&T couldnt handle. After 40 minutes at AT&T, Apple took care of it in 2 minutes.
