I came here today and spent $112 on water plants and fishes. The fishes I bought were marble angel fishes and there are two price signs with $2 difference, one said "angel fish" and the cheaper one said "marble angle fish". I complained. The sale associate 200 named Paul was obviously too tired to go check because he is too heavy, he came back and insisted on more expensive price. FINE to me, i was just confused and asking, its only $8 difference since I bought 4 fishes. But I was very disappointed in the associate behavior - very DISRESPECTFUL to customer. When I asked "did you add my Pals account to the system?" He nodded his head and corrected me "its card" twice (meaning its a card, not account). ALRIGHT BOSS, HAHA. Im returning all plants this week to Petco and buying from Petsmart instead. Perhaps losing one customer is not a big deal to you, right Petco?

We bought a Chinese dwarf hamster for my daughter and all the supplies on Saturday 9/12/15. The girl who sold it to us gave me the receipt complete with a 30 day refund if anything happened to the hamster....and added in all the time she has worked there nobody has had problems with the hamsters they purchased. The hamster died today, though it had been acting fine and seemed healthy. The cage that we had bought from the store was broken when we got home and was not able to be used....there was a picture on the box of play equipment, a water bottle, and food dish, all of which the sales girl told us were included in the box....none of which were in the box.

The manager James was a real jerk, I thought he was a new employee until I saw his name tag. He was flirting with the cashier with like 5 people in her line while holding a conversation with the same person for a really long minute, while I was just trying to buy some toothpaste. He treated me like I was the jerk for making him do his job. This has happened to me multiple times with the same guy? How is he a manager? He messes around in his line and sends me to some poor cashier with over triple his workload? Real classy, James the Manager.

One of the worst petcos I have ever seen i have never got one good experience first off they never dust their food that they give the leos one of the boas in their store looked like they had mouth rot and two of their ball pythons had mites I have seen adoption animals better off then the stuff they are selling

The frozen rodent selection is GOD AWFUL. (All PETCOs) They only have like 4 sizes of mice, and there SO EXPENSIVE. Live insects are also pretty bad. My suggestion is go to Dinky Reptiles and Aquatics located at 809 Southbridge St, Auburn, MA.

Okay pet store. A lot of supplies. Animals are okay, but some arent properly housed..like baby bearded dragons shouldnt be in sand or eat mealworms (due to GI onstruction) and they do both at this store. Do your pet research!

I buy supplies that are basic here but if youre buying a reptile, tarantula, amphibian, or fish I suggest buying from dinky reptiles and aquatics they care better for their animals and can give you better information

Many options and items, but high prices. A pastel ball python there will cost you $300. A pastel ball python at a place called Dickeys Reptiles and Aquatics(nearby) will cost you $50 and probably be healthier

It would be nice if they actually cleaned inside this place once and a while. It bothers me to go into a place that lets animals inside of it and it just stinks so badly like, clean up after yourselves.

I like Petco and the staff is great, but sometimes it feels like a dog store with other pets covered as an afterthought, and most of the cat scratching posts are shorter and more expensive than I want.
