This appointment seemed to start out ok, but quickly went downhill from there. The consultant (an older woman) kept pulling dresses I had no interest in, after I repeatedly told her what style I was looking for. She kept pulling size 2 dresses and insisting I try them on when I told her they wouldnt fit and would then make snide comments about how shed have to go look for dresses for "bigger brides." All of this was after I told her my normal size at the beginning of the appointment. For context, I wear a normal womans size 8, I wasnt very body conscious until this woman got a hold of me for a few hours. I was also alarmed and a little disgusted by her attempts to engage my bridal party in conversation. Instead of making normal small talk about wedding plans or how they knew me or the weather, or literally anything else, she started talking trash about previous clients that she had worked with in the store. This is not only highly unprofessional, but it makes me wonder what someone like this would say about me to her next bride. On top of all of this, when she stopped making fun of my weight and started pulling dresses that were in the style I was looking for, 2 other appointments came in. She helped the first one without too much issue as it was just a final fitting and the seamstress was helping them as well, but the second one that came in was apparently someone she knew, but has not requested her for their appointment. Instead of remaining a professional and finishing my appointment, she decided against finding another consultant and she tried to do both appointments. This basically resulted in her abandoning me and hanging out with her friends. I had to find someone else (a very nice young lady) that worked there to help me out of the dress that I was still in! Objectively, the store is clean and well lit, and seemed to have a decent range of gowns for the size of the store. I cannot speak to their willingness to do alterations, as my appointment never made it that far. Maybe if I had had a more professional consultant this would have gone a lot better. Needless to say, I was highly disappointed with this stores personnel and no one should be made to feel body conscious or fat while looking for their wedding gown. I will be going elsewhere to find my dress.

After meeting Debbie and Kathy at a bridal sh ok w b with my b dream dress on display things got v even better. My fiance and I made a weekend trip to the bridal studio and b tried on b several gowns before going back to my original choice. Everyone was so friendly and compassionate and down to earth. On the second visit my maid of honor accompanied me to a session where we were able to custom design and alter my gown for order. My third visit was alone with staff where I b was finally face to face with my perfect bridal dream dress. I live over an hour one way from the shop and easily could have purchased a gown 5 minutes from home, but I would not change a thing nor gotten the experience I had.

Debbie and the Staff here at Love It! at Stellas are nothing short of amazing! Debbie took the time with me to make me feel like a beautiful bride and not just a number. I cannot say enough how grateful I am for all they have done for me. They made a very emotional situation with my dress, (unfortunately purchased at a large shop) the best day I could have imagined. Please dont shop anywhere else but Stellas. I will always hold them in the highest regard. The lady at the front desk was rude. Made me and my mother feel like intruders after we told her we didnt have an appointed and that we just wanted to look. The first impression was so bad, I didnt want to wait for a stylist to help me. We just walked out.
