The organizations of which I am a member and CEO donate thousands of dollars in high-quality items to the surrounding Goodwill stores yearly. On August 13th was the first time EVER in the history of our supporting the Goodwill did I feel like screaming. I discovered a couple of treasures that were going to be used as wedding ornaments for ceremonies over which I am presiding. Unfortunately, a couple of the items were devoid of prices. When I approached the register and informed Gwen (the manager) of this -- she quoted to me some outrageous guesstimated prices. I explained that her idea of costs for the unmarked items far exceeded even their original value. She proceeded to tell me that I could wait while she went in the back to check some figures. I patiently waited 20 minutes. Upon her return to the front -- Gwen (the manager) informed me of the following, "Maam, I am not going to reduce the prices it stands as I quoted earlier and if you do not buy these items I will increase the prices and return them to the floor for someone else to buy." WOW! Really! Now, correct me if I misunderstood, but Gwens comment sounded dangerously like a threat and certainly something that a bully would say to someone when they want things to go their way. As a 30-year long supporter and one whose companies donate annually to the Goodwill because they employ people LIKE HER to work -- I was insulted like no bodys business. Furthermore, I feel as though she was discriminating against me because when a white customer had an item without a price she went out of her way to find the most affordable cost for them. The other items I had in-cart to purchase all were left on the counter along with her erroneously priced gadgets. This type of behavior (especially) from a manager requires reprimand. Perhaps she doesnt know any better. Maybe she was never properly trained in how to deliver superior customer service. People like her give the Goodwills mission an awful reputation. If an employee of the Goodwill puts an item out for customers and neglect to include a price -- there should be some formal policy in place for how the item is FAIRLY priced and NOT the manager up-charging the item because that was the first thought which came to their mind. Behavior from employees like her are the reason why business professionals like me start independent organizations to give back to the community for FREE. I dont have to shop the Goodwill simply because our companies donate. I chose to support the Goodwill because it keeps good people working. I

If I could give this 0 stars I would. My experience here was very upsetting. My sister, her baby, and I stopped here to check out some of there clothing and shoes. As we were in store my sister stop shopping so she could breastfeed her baby. As she was breastfeeding the employees made very disgusted faces and were talking underneath there breathes saying "that is so disgusting" "why would she do that in public", we were then asked to leave the store because of that.I felt as if she was being discriminated because she was feeding her child. Very unprofessional.

It was alright. The store was much bigger than I expected just from seeing the outside. There was a lot of stuff in here, but I didnt really see anything unique or vintage. Its impossible to figure out how much something costs without asking an employee, which I didnt like at all. The prices are much higher than other Goodwill stores Ive been to outside of Maryland.

This location and the nearby Goodwill are great for finding some true treasures. I went in to find some bargains and was surprised. They had tons of new clothes with the tags still on.

This is a nice clean store with a decent collection. Prices can be pretty expensive for a thrift store. But it is in the more upscale part of town so I guess that should be expected.
