I purchased a 2003 911 Turbo with 23k miles on it from this dealership about a month a half ago, and it was the worst experience I have ever had buying a car. Their customer service has been and continues to be atrocious. They told me they inspected the car prior to sale, they assured me it was done by their "Porsche Master Mechanics" and that I had nothing to worry about. However, they were not willing to guarantee their car with anything more than a 30 day, 1k mile powertrain warranty. This shows some real confidence in their techs. The car hesitates under power, has electrical issues, and is generally not in the condition that they sold it as. I paid top of the market value for this car because I was assured that it was a top of the market vehicle. I now have to do a tuneup on the car myself, because their techs either didnt inspect the car at all (the likely situation), or they are incompetent. When I went to pickup the car, there were NEW scratches on the car, that they did take care of, but it just shows how they take care of the car once its sold. I went to do the tuneup myself, because I like working on cars and I want to understand my vehicle. I got everything ready, and went to take off the wheels to get to the engine and was dumbfounded to find that the wheel key was not in the car, despite me POINTEDLY asking them if it was there. They assured me it was. I lost my entire Labor day weekend because of this careless error. On multiple occasions, the sales manager (Michael Katzemburg) told me that he would call me back only for me to wait days and still never hear back after being told "I will call you right back". Piss poor customer service and not at all what I would expect from a Porsche dealership. I wanted to give them once more chance to make things right with me. I called the general manager (Larry Servin) and explained my issue. He listened to me and told me that he wanted to make it right and that the way I was treated was "unacceptable". He offered to replace the wheel lock, which I will be taking him up on as that is literally the least they could do. I then asked that they perform the tune up, with my parts, in order to make things right. I was promptly told that they were not willing to do this. Shows me how much their reputation means to them. I will never recommend this dealership to a friend, it was a horrible experience. I will definitely not be purchasing another Porsche, nor recommending the Porsche brand to ANY friends or family, as this is the kind of dealership that they put their name on. I am also putting the car up for sale, because the loss in equity is worth it for me to not have to drive a Porsche after this miserable experience. I will also be contacting the Porsche corporate office to let them know of my experience. Edit (9/9/3025): Another great surprise. The electrical system in the car is also damaged, another issue that the "Porsche certified master mechanics" failed to either find or disclose. I will continue to update this review with the issues that I find as well as the response that I receive from Porsche of North America. Edit (9/24/2015) I have opened a formal customer complaint with Porsche of North America. Will update on how that goes. I also performed a full tuneup myself this weekend and can safely say that NONE of the service that this dealership assured me was completed had in fact been done. I pulled the spark plugs out and they were in horrible condition, no way possible they had been replaced as claimed. 2 coil packs were cracked and completely unserviceable. The oil was in horrible condition, even though they claimed it had just been replaced, this oil looked many months old. The filters all needed to be changed. Another note, they told me that they couldnt do a tuneup on the car to make things right because it would cost them $1500 due to the 8 hour labor cost. I did it myself in 3 hours having never touched a porsche before. Some "master mechanics" they have there. I am at the character limit, so I cannot include the rest. I will edit as I can.

I was driving my 2007 997.1 C2S to meet a buddy of mine for a happy hour when I noticed that my car was behaving strangely. I would stab the throttle and the engine would rev but the car wouldnt put the power down. I was overcome with a sudden feeling of dred, because as you read this you realize as I did in that moment - clutch failure. Anybody who drives a manual car knows this is the swans song of funtimes. Unlike other issues, like an engine light, or a low tire, clutch failure mandates two things: a tow and a large repair bill. As I saw my car dragged onto the flat bed by AAA, I contemplated where to send my car for repair. AAA had their preferred shops and were touting a 12% dsicount on any labor; and sure, its an older car so who cares if the repair work isnt performed at Porsche? Well, I did. Certainly, there were closer dealers than Rockville, but I decided, having had a recent overwhelmingly positive sales experience at Rockville Porsche (buying a Macan), to bring my car there for service- a little nervous that the service side would not provide the level of service the sales side did. Let me tell you, not only was the service side professional and prompt, they exceeded my expectations. Never had I a dealership experience in the DMV which rivaled my sales/service experience at Rockville- yes, Im looking at you Silver Spring BMW (who once broke a strut brace on my car unrealated to the service intended and then tried to charge me for a one). Rockville Porsche delivered under time and under budget, while providing additional services at a reduced cost (i.e. 40K mile major service). They also worked with me on pricing to help make the experience more fair - because replacing 911 clutches aint cheap. I know they are just cars, but Rockville earned my loyalty and as I plan to replace my older 911 with a newer one, I want to give Rockville that sale when I am ready. Special thanks to the service team lead by Alex, and my two outstanding sales reps (for the Macan purchase) Sean and Steven. Well done.

On 5 March 2016, I purchased a used 2010 Hummer H3 from Rockville Audi. The listing stated that the truck had passed a 100 point dealership inspection, and was MD inspected. Neither of which seems to be true. After noticing the truck idling roughly during the test drive, I was informed that there was indeed a hose that needed to be replaced, which should fix the rough idle...has not. Additionally, the wheels which were on the vehicle, would not allow the truck to pass MD inspection. (Note: listing stated that it was already inspected). I swapped the wheels off of my old Hummer, onto the new one, to assist in getting the truck to pass inspection, which was in-house, and it did, supposedly!!! Since taking ownership of the truck, Ive paid $850.23 to have all four warped rotors replaced, $1140.32 in unpreformed scheduled maintenance, and potentially more considering in addition to what is listed above, the GM dealer found two leaking transmission cooler lines, a worn belt tensioner, AND a cracked exhaust manifold. The GM dealer was shocked, that ALL of these things had been missed in Rockville Audis 100 point inspection...and stated that they, Rockville Audi, likely chose not to perform the maintenance. I have attempted to give Rockville Audi the opportunity to address these issues, with no resolution to date...two months later. The manager verbally agreed to pay $500 for the rotors, but has not followed though with that either. After all is said and done, if you are ok with buying a used car, from a dealer who clearly doesnt care if that car drives much longer than it takes to get it off their lot...Rockville Audi is your place. To be fair, the salesman (Luis), and finance officer (Sean), were great to work with. Larry, the manager is non-responsive, and seems not to care once the deal is signed.
