I walked in this Ross store in Laurel Maryland today and i will never go to this Ross ever again.The store was in a shambles the no smiles on any of the associates faces. The racks were horrible i know people can just put things anywhere but this was far worst than that.I live in Upper Marlboro Md but work in the area,But i will go to Virgina to Ross to shop. And i found one item i was going to purchase got in the line it was like 10 to 13 customers 2 registers open and customer service.The cashiers looked like they were exhausted and were moving a little slow.I left my item and went to visit my friend in the nearby hospital.Presentation is everything to me if it looks junkie that turns me totally off from shopping at your store because that means i will have to dig and hunt for what i like in my size.Suggestion hire more part-time evening staff to do reshops and straightening of the racks of clothes and shoes .There was poll on one of the racks just sitting there and someone could have gotten hurt.Sorry to post this comment but it needs to be addressed.And definitely because of your location in that area.I believe the extra staff will definitely be a plus. I went to Ross in Laurel, MD store 0892 to buy a gift for my friend. I purchase a heel mirror but when I got to the car the glass cracked when I put it on my car seat. I wasnt more than 3 mins before I return to store to simple exchange the glass for an even or high value. Unfortunately, the manager Ms. Gloria refused to work with me and denied me a exchange. I was very unset because I recently purchase a house a month ago and had spend over a 1,000 in a past month in Ross. The fact that I am a faithful shopper and was giving my money to Ross over Marshall, T J Max and Burlington for my house really disappointed me. I will never ever walk into a Ross again and I will advise anyone I know PLEASE PLEASE do not shop at Ross. They are not customer first type of store. All they care about is selling your crap and not willing to work with you on a simple exchange.

Not sure what was going on with the customer service at returns, but Assoc. 861450 seemed REAL extra when it came to returning some shirts just now. While I can understand the tags were not present ON the item, I happened to have them to match the receipt. But she still called a manager. And then acted like she didnt know saying some other associate called when she walked over there to ask about the return! Really?? This is whats wrong with retail and customer service; yall dont really make an effort to make the process of purchasing OR returning an item simple, its always gotta be something extra. Then she tells me to take my receipt and calls NEXT before I can even gather my things to leave...rude.

Like most Ross stores, inventory and cleanliness is really weird. Lots of people wandering or sitting around at this store... My fellow patrons leave a lot to be desired when it comes to courtesy and awareness of themselves and their kids. Even more baffling is the checkout. Lane lights are off or on arbitrarily. One line was being used, despite 3 registers on different sides of the lane and one at customer service being open. No one could see where the heck to go. Cashiers were practially comatose...The registers that werent open had junk just strewn everywhere. Doubt I will bother to shop at this location again.

Love Ross its a great cheap store but the customer service sucks so much here even the manager is horrible. The manager whos a Spanish pregnant lady I cant remember her name, rung me up and she had the biggest stank face the whole time she didnt even tell me the total she just turned the screen towards me and waited without saying a word to me the whole transaction! I didnt even get a hello or anything. I didnt even feel like buying I just felt like leaving the items and walking away honestly it was just disrespectful.

This Ross is always messy. Often times when it is less busy you will find only 1 or 2 staff to help. Usually have to wait in line before someone shows up in the register. If there is someone in the customer service desk, you will have to wait for them to finish whatever it is theyre doing before they help you.

Each time I go lines are endless, I went a Sunday and the line was long, the lady paying took a long time because she had a lot of items, and their was only on cashier working, it took her maybe about 6 minutes to call another cashier, besides that it is ok.

The store is okay. The website says that it closes at 11:30 PM on Fridays but it actually closed at 11:00 PM. The support staff was rude when a customer confronted about the time. She did not even bother answering her.

One of the best kept secrets in Laurel. You will usually find something here compared to the other Ross Stores. This is not run down as some of the other stores.
