I purchased a washer and dryer from home depot. Delivery date was pretty fast and installation was good. The problem was when 3 days later home depot offered a sales price on the same washer and dryer and I spent an hour with the online customer service trying to get the price match, only to have them tell me I had to come into the store. I asked the representative 4 times that I would have no problem doing the price match in the store since I have a newborn and traveling with her is not easy and she confirmed I would have no issues. I went the next day I went into the store only to be given the run around. I went to the front desk and was told I needed to go to the back to appliances. I waited back there for a representative only to have them say I needed to go back to the front and ask for a manager. They refused to price match their own lower price and if you want to return the appliances there is a 15% restocking fee. I will never purchase another appliance from home depot. I should have just waited longer for best buy to deliver. They price match even after the purchase with no problems and they do not charge a restocking fee if it did not work out. I received horrible customer service at home depot and was given the run around. DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES FROM HOME DEPOT. Go to best buy, much easier price match, better customer service, and no restocking fee on appliances if they do not work out.

If I could give a negative 10 I would. My husband and I ordered an Egress Cover in store while visiting this Home Depot. Although my husband was hesitant, I encouraged him to order while in the store. We paid for the item and dealt with the lazy customer service representative in windows in doors who obviously did not have his coffee that morning. Let me say lazy again...couldnt even get out of his chair to take the measurements for my cover. Any who, we received an email that our item was ready to be picked up in record time and went to the store to pick it up...smh they can not find it. A day later they still cant find it and state that they would reorder...yea a week later...still no Egress Cover. Go in to this location to get my refund and they did not want to give me my cash refund from my debit card. The customer service people lie and the store manager is a coward who refused to assist us. The corporate office should fire them all and start again. Please dont waste your time or your money in this store. Im waiting for someone in the corporate office to realize this store would benefit from a complete overhaul in employees. This place is the worst. I will drive to Frederick,MD any day and avoid this location like the plague. I still havent received my money in my account yet.

I went in to buy a cactus and bubble wrap. I found the plants easily and picked one to take home. I couldnt find the bubble wrap so I started walking around trying to find it. An employee near the paint was staring at me like I was some kind of nasty thing pulled off of the street so I went up to him and politely asked him where I could find the bubble wrap. He looked me in the eye and continued to stare at me like with a gross look on his face. He ignored my question so after awkwardly standing there I walked away to look some more. A more friendly employee asked me if I needed help and I said yes and asked where to find the wrap so he directed me to the other side of the store. It was nowhere near there. I dont think he knew what he was talking about at all. So I checked out and went home, then I noticed that the flowers on my cactus were made of paper and hot glued on to the plant. I googled what the real one looks like and they werent even close. It says on the pot what kind of cactus it is and they sold me something else. Im not even going to try to return it because I know from experience that they will not accept it. If I could give negative stars, I would.

I purchased a dishwasher with delivery and installation services. On a positive note I would like to praise the service of my salesperson, Andrew, who was very helpful and super sweet. I was told upon purchasing that I was to under no circumstances sign any paperwork until my dishwasher was installed and turned on to ensure that it worked as I was told that they sometimes drop and run. So I was already leary of the service. The delivery company called, at least I think that is who it was, and basically asked if I had been informed of their 2 part delivery, which I had not. So they informed me they would drop the appliance and in a couple of days someone from another company would call me to schedule a day to install it. This is nothing like what I was told so I immediately came back to Home Depot to cancel my order completely. I was met my an associate named Albert who yelled at me, talked over me, insulted me and actually brought me to tears. What a horrible employee and what a horrible experience!!! My lesson was to fork up the additional money and go to Sears!

Staff is under trained, especially the daytime staff. I have more knowledge of were and what things are more than 90% of the people working there and Im not an expert diyer. I bought wire there by the foot once and I waited 20 minutes for the "electrical" guy to come cut it for me as three other guys stood there stocking shelves. I guess only one guy was qualified to do it, but somehow managed to give me the wrong wire. I paid for 18-2 and got 22-2, but didnt realize it until I wired it through my cabinets and cut it. I tried to get a refund or even exchange for the right wire that I paid for but was treated extremely disrespectful, by the manager on duty 2/7/2016 around 10 AM...Ed. His attitude the whole time was disrespectful and accusatory, as if I need to steel 10 of wire. And he placed all the blame on me for not double checking the wire before I bought it. Im done with Home Depot, Im glad to pay extra to the local HW store where they train their employees and know how to treat customers. HD doesnt deserve one star.

OTR TRUCKERS WITH VANS BEWARE!!!! This place sucks for deliveries. First, had to go across the street to the BIG LOTS parking lot, backup across the street through the HOME DEPOT parking lot that was FULL of cars, pedestrians, and merchandise, past the RACKS of plants and maneuver into the dock. The friggin plant ladies wouldnt move the damn racks and when I got out and moved about five or six of them out of my way so I could friggin turn, one of these plant b*%#¥s put one of the racks back in the spot that I moved them from. Took 45, thats right, 45 damn minutes to get in the dock. Then, the guy, the ONLY guy unloading trucks, went off somewhere for some reason for another 15 minutes. IRR-I-TA-TED!! AAAAUUUUGGGGHHHHHH!!!!! Plus Im exhausted and my daughter is waiting for me to get home so we can go to the National Zoo to see lions, tigers, and elephants. Who cares about bears.
