Terrible customer service, sub-par cupcakes. Just had two birthday parties last week and ordered four dozens of cupcakes and a vegan cake. The vegan cake tasted GREAT and the design of the cake also very CUTE, my daughter loved it. The cupcakes on the other hand looked fantastic but DID NOT taste all that good. The girl who handled my order didn’t seem to be a happy worker there. I didnt appreciate her expressionless mannerism, and every other words come out of her mouth was Is there anything else today? as if she just wants to get rid of me. The place is so small that they literally pushed me to the corner so that they can take the onesie or twosie customers. I was spending several hundred dollars on that day and this was certainly not the service I expected. Im all for supporting local small businesses and mom-and-pop shops but this shop didn’t have the mom-and-pop shop warm and fuzzy. TV hype has gotten into their heads possibly.

I went in and ordered a 6 pack of variety cupcakes for $16. My favorite being the black bottom! Then I decided to get a salted caramel, lemon, red velvet, creme brule, and carrot cake. The salted caramel was by far the worst cupcake Ive tasted from the Bel Air location. But besides the cupcakes bad taste the womans attitude who answered the phone when I called to express my dissatisfaction with the cupcakes taste was just as bad. I was told "well no one else complained, we did not have a bad batch yesterday, we sold out! Maybe its just a flavor you dont like but as I said no one else complained." Im sorry but burnt bitter coffee is far from salted caramel! And you lady are rude! So much for Customer service! I can see if i was rude and or nasty but u was not. And just because no one said it was nasty that you know of did not mean that is was not. Because it in fact was very nasty!

I ordered a cake from here for my daughters birthday party. I was told they could only do basic fondant decorations because there was noone there with that skill. Anyway I paid for my cake when I ordered it for pickup on the way to the party place. The day of the party the bakery was closed! The story I got was that they had alot of wedding deliveries that day as if my daughters party wasnt equally important. So we got our cake TWO days after the party because they are closed on Mondays, and the cake was crumbling apart as I was even cutting it. The best thing about the cake was shimmers in the purple icing. Not worth it. My 4 y.o. makes a moister cake than that! We never recieved any money back, or even an apology, just a discount card for the next purchase (AS IF) and a stale cake that was supposed to have been made the day of her party.

People are friendly.. Designs are pretty. However the cupcakes are HORRIBLE! Same flavor cupcake, either chocolate or vanilla on ALL flavors. The icing is what make the "flavor".. Too much icing which tasted like lard, texture of cupcake is not good, kind of stale tasting (cupcake was not a cake texture, more like a flaky, fall apart texture).. After trying almost all their flavors, I wont be back. I was hoping to like something, but it didnt happen. Also, there pricing is a bit high for the area. The cakeballs are a rip off and too sweet! Could only eat half and threw the rest away, again, way over priced! Good luck to this place, but I wont be back!

Flavor Cupcakery is AMAZING!!! I cant believe all the bad reviews. I live close by and go there frequently. I bring them into the office once a week or so and everyone goes crazy for them. I also bring them home and surprise the family. Ive never had one complaint. The Staff is always super helpful and friendly. The cupcakes are always fresh and delicious. Any one who gave this place a bad review must be used to Betty Crocker or sugary store bought cupcakes. Flavor Cupcakery makes Gourmet cupcakes. No Lard or crisco, No preservatives, Only Fresh and Delicious ingredients. I recommend this place over the rest.

My family still loves the double chocolate macarons. I really loved the key lime macarons and was told on Facebook that I could special order if I ordered at least a dozen. When we called though we were told they just arent doing the flavor right now so we cant even special order. We went in this week anyway and got a bunch of macarons, and I was really disappointed in the lemon, there was no lemon flavor at all. The key lime pie is now a parfait which, despite having the same flavor just isnt the same.

Theyre handling cupcakes for our wedding and they have handled cupcakes for my future husbands birthday too! Ravens day too... what Im saying is theyve got it all!! Terrific staff and terrific taste-these are not your typical cupcakes-rich & creative flavors. No one is perfect, and I would only suggest that they add a little more moisture-sometimes they are a little dry. :) Thank you for handling everything for us so seemlessly and we will be getting our anniversary cupcakes here! I appreciate their effort in providing gluten free items, but their frostings are just really disappointing. They are focusing too much on "variety" and not quality of frosting. Frosting is just too heavy and "lardy" tasting, it would be nice if they offered a nice bakers frosting for cakes and such. Really disappointed in a cake my husband recently brought home for me, had to throw most of it away ;(

Flavor Cupcakery and bake shop in Bel Air is so amazing!!! All of their cupcakes are so delicious and creative, but its the customer service I love the most. Brogan help us when we needed a last minute wedding reception order and she was so wonderful and helpful. I will definitely suggest this place to anyone planning an event or someone who is just craving sweets!!!

I ordered 6 sugar free peanut butter, chocolate cupcakes and I was very disappointed. The peanut butter icing was wonderful but the cupcake itself was dry and just crumbled when it was unwrapped. The cupcake wasnt tasty with out the icing. I felt for the price I paid and reading the reviews, the cupcakes would have been better quality.

I have never tasted a cupcake as good as a flavor cupcakery cupcake. They are so moist and the icing is mouth watering! The customer service is great. Everyone is so nice and friendly right when you walk through the door! You HAVE to try it, you wont be disappointed!

I got my son a 10inch red velvet cake for his 16th birthday this the best cake it was 3layers I thought it was going to be 2 layers this cake was huge super moist and good just like the Ted velvet cupcakes. He told me he want the same cake every year....

AWESOME! I had a coupon for 1 free cupcake... it blew my taste buds away! How old do you have to be to work here cause I want to :) Oh and you guys should be on cupcake wars if you havent you would win!
