Attention to all customers, If you want to hear the total of F-word vocabulary from this establishment, this place is where to go for such a barrage of words against the customers. I bought a brand new lawnmower the yard machine. A week later the motor busted with the oil in it. I was referred by manufacture (MTD) to this repair place, Lehman Hardware, Inc. , @ 5921 Belair Rd, Baltimore, MD 21206. The man in charge is Mr. Dave. I brought the lawn mower in on October 7, 2016. Mr. Dave said to leave it there, they will give a diagnostic on my mower. After one week I called In to Lehman Hardware Inc. , to check on my mower. ( I didnt suspect any trickery). The motor was visually busted even without the diagnostic, I was too naive to see what Mr. Dave was planning. A week latter I called again. They claimed that they had no knowledge of my lawnmower, (as if never dropped it there). l was directed to call back. My suspicions were aroused, that something is not right. I called in the next day. They told me that I hit something with the mower. There for the carburetor was busted. I arrived to Lehman Hardware, and questioned the diagnostic. I asked for a manager. I was told that the manager would not arrive for another 20 minutes. So I waited. They pulled out the lawn mower after 20 mins. Passed, and the apologized for the wrong diagnostic. And they said the were going to call me back. Which they never did. I called MTD THE MANUFACTURER, explaining the whole aggravating story to them. Which amounted to nothing. In the meantime, thirty days passed, I was told by Mr. Dave to take my lawn mower, and get lost. Under a barrage of cuss words spewing from Mr. Daves toilet mouth. He pushed me out of the store. He managed to drag the whole story for more 30 days. Now Lehman Hardware think they are untitled to my $30 for nothing. No services rendered.

Absolutely terrible service. I came in for help finding the right screw to attach my TV mount and was brushed off by a very curt older woman employee. She ,rather unpleasantly, told me to go find the correct metric and walked off. I asked for a little clarification and she barked that the screws and bolts were self service. It would have been clear to anyone that I didnt know what a metric was in the first place, let alone my way around a hardware store! She then rudely informed me that she had orders to fill and didnt have time to help me, although when I entered the store she was standing around chatting with another employee and customer. I wanted to patronize local business in my new neighborhood, big mistake. Never again, Ill stick with Home Depot, where they dont try to make you feel like a nuisance just for needing a little help.

Poor service. I try to go to local, "mom & pop" shops because I look for better customer service for which Im willing to sacrifice slightly higher prices. Unfortunately, this mom & pop shop does not live up to my expectations. I called last Saturday to ask about getting a window fixed. The person I spoke with said they could do it. I drove there and the lady told me the person who does these repairs was not there and wouldnt be in until Monday at 12. Given that I needed this window fixed, I went back on Monday. I spoke with the man who fixes windows. He very rudely told me that he could not tell me when he could fix my window because he was too busy. I walked out because there was no way I was going to give them my business. Needless to say, I will not go back here.

Ive used Lehmans over 4 years and have never had to actually even go in the store. As a person who rehabs houses this has been great. They have found and ordered obscure parts and notified me when they have come in. I cant even get the big box stores to locate the parts that Lehmans has been able to easily locate.

I brought my trimmer in for warranty service and after 2 weeks I finally called wondering where it was. THREE times someone took my number and didnt call back. I had to pester someone to actually look for it. He told me they hadnt called me back because they lost my paperwork. Not real happy about that.

Worst store ever, I bought a recoil rope for my mower there and it was double the price, then the store right up the street. Went back to return it and they wouldnt take it back, they said they do not offer ANY RETURNS. The owner himself is the true ignorant one, no wonder the other employees are so rude.

I called looking for a mower with a bag and the lady there couldnt look for one but eventually looked out the window andshe said there was one and she guessed at the price because couldnt leave the counter. no one there to help her . poor service

Called to inquire about a lawn mower and the "gentleman" had the worse disposition. Me being the type of person I am remained nice and calm even though he didnt deserve it. I said "thank you" when I was done and he just hung up the phone. Smh......

More obscure selection than the big box stores and you dont have to walk miles back and forth between aisles. I have not had any problems with service in the past. I have shopped here about 15-20 times.

To be quite honest I dont go to this type of store often, but when I do I usually have good experience with customer service. Sadly in this store I didnt have that experience
