Potential is here to have a really fine local market. I try to go at least once a week for meats, as that is their finest feature. I would love to see less space used for packages of processed stuff and cleaning supplies and more on better selection of baked goods and good local products at reasonable cost. They could be Bow Street Market South... Great , personal and friendly staff and so convenient for grabbing a few things you forgot at bigbox !

I CLICKED ON TO LOOK AT MEAT PACKAGES, I FOUND NOTHING, BUT A PHONE NUMBER & DIRECTIONS????? NO OTHER REVEIWS? I ALSO CHECKED OUT FRESH APPROACH & THEY HAD A MENU OF MEAT PACKAGES WITH LBS AND PRICES. I WOULD LIKE TO COMPARE? I DID CALL & ASKED A QUESTION ABOUT A CERTAIN KIND OF STEAK, BUT THE MAN WHO ANSWERED DID NOT ASK ME IF I NEEDED ANYTHING ELSE LIKE PRICES?

I absolutely love legion Square market because its a local owned business and I work there. Alan the owner my boss is a very dedicated person when it comes to his business and employees.. the best cuts of meat around with the last two year best butcher award Tommy. I enjoy seeing the regulars they are very friendly.

Very good market. Great prices on spices. Some of the best prices on craft beer in Maine. Big fat pork chops are sold here and I stuff them w/ homemade presto. Staff has always been very nice.
