Dropped in today for a couple Lobster Rolls. The meat was fresh and tasty, 12" roll was lightly toasted and buttered on the outside. Just the right amount of lettuce under the meat to add some crunch. I brought 3 back to work for Co-workers and myself and the consensus was there were the best lobster rolls we have had in years and you could not beat the price. The prices i noticed on the other seafood and produce were competitive and maybe better than what i have seen in other markets in the area. The rest of the store was clean and well ordered with a wide variety of fresh produce and fresh seafood to satisfy the closet foodie in any of us. A nice selection of cold libations is available as well. The staff were friendly and helpful. Off street parking is plentiful. I will be a return customer.

I was sent claims, all crushed, called and was told they would take care of it and talk to owner, weeks go by no call, no owner said call shipper. Well, they took care of shipping and charged $100 to ship. He said I was redicqulios that I should expect anything and my complaint was talking his time away from more important things. Dont have anything shipped, they take zero responsibility in what ends up it the box. I lost out $100 shipping, and 6 pounds of steamers that where all crushed. The box was petfect so Jim, the owner could care less what goes on after it leaves his door and you will be on the hook for the surprise you may get when you open the box, Goid luck, use another place.

Love this local market! Its owned and managed by two generations of the nicest people you will ever meet. In the summer its just a slice out of Norman Rockwell their children/grandchildren playing outside. More importantly, I cant count the times that I have stopped in here instead of trekking over to one of Portlands specialty markets and picked up everything I need for a fantastic dinner: good bottles of wine, fresh local produce, gorgeous seafood, and nice treats for dessert!

We came here straight from the Rising Tide restaurant where we had just eaten, but had left hungry. The Lobster Roll here came in a roll twice the size and had about 4 times more lobster in it. Only a $1 more plus we also picked up a couple of stuffed clams while we were here. This is the best bet for a Lobster Roll in this area.

Amazing place to pick up fresh seafood and produce at a great price. Owners very nice and helpful. We got a dozen lobsters cooked to go and had a very tasty picnic. Thank you Dick for helping us decide what to select and for operating a very nice establishment. We will be back again.

The Shrimp Roll Sandwich was great and super tasty! Get it with both sauces. The Seafood Chowder Soup was awesome too. It has shrimp and corns in it, and I loved it. The shrimps were fresh and the price was reasonable too.
