I wont be going back. Last time I went I waited several minutes for someone to come to the first window so I could order. Logically I puller to the second after no one came. The lady at the second window rudely asked if I had ordered. I explained that no one was at the first window and I asked if I could just give her my order. She said orders were only taken at the first window, and closed the window in my face. I was upset so I left. Ive never called a restaurant to complain about someone, but I called later to speak to a manager. She laughed throughout the conversation and wasnt apologetic or anything. I was polite during all of this, so I felt I had been treated badly. I sent an email to the Cafe du Monde corporate office. They apologized and said they would send me some coupons in hopes that I would give them another chance. Well they never sent me any coupons...so Ive never gone back! Id much rather wait until Im across the lake and go to Morning Call. Their beignets, coffee, and service are much better.

Great little beignet spot. Nothing beats the atmosphere of the original in the FQ but its great having a cafe du monde in mandeville close to home. Liz that works the floor is awesome. She always has a smile for you and brings hats to the kids. She is 5 stars all the way.

I love the location of this place & its friendly service. The environment was nice & clean. While i enjoyed their Beignets, i was disappointed that they dont sell Strawberry Beignets! This is a great place to go enjoy a hot beverage with a good tasting "Plain" Beignet!

Fun café right off the interstate. Great beignets and coffee. Iced coffee is not sweet which you dont need it to be if you are eating the beignets with it. The frozen coffee is great, but super sweet! Lots of souvenir choices as well. Clean and friendly.

I miss this place so much Im a Floridian and I came here to visit but cafe du Monde was one of the thing I miss the most about this place! Its cozy and the managers and employees here are so nice and kind! Highly recommend !!

I have to stop here every time Im in town. I love beignets and cafe au lait. This store is close to my family and we go almost daily when Im there. excellent atmosphere, food and service. Highly recommended

Beignets and cafe au lait are always good but dont get the iced coffee because they dont sweeten it and if you attempt to stir sugar in iced coffee, it wont dissolve.
