The one and only place to get meats in Lexington! They offer everything from your basic cuts of meat to those more obscure delicacies such as beef tongue or quail. They also have an excellent bakery that puts home-style cakes and pies on the shelf every day. They also recently began carrying Alltechs Kentucky-raised beef. Its nice to talk to someone who can trace what you are eating back to the field it was born in, something inconceivable to those at larger supermarkets. On top of all this, Critchfields is a family owned, service-oriented business! Ive never had any problem with special requests, everything is always done with a smile on everyones face!
