10/12/15 We arrived promptly. Despite us being one of only two parties there on a Monday, the hostess told us we didnt have time to choose a hat/gloves/etc.and that we would have to wait until later to do so. She insisted we were about to be seated. I was surprised at how put out the hostess seemed that I wanted to let my little daughter dress up before we sat down. Then, the hostess disappeared for 5 minutes, and when she reappeared we were seated. Then the waitress did not show for about 5 minutes either. So, it was not a delightful welcome. I would have thought they might be more accommodating to one of the very few customers present. So, fair warning if they are busy perhaps the atmosphere they create may be even more poor. Since this was my treat I really wanted it to be good. Unfortunately, the offerings on the trays were VERY disappointing. Bland, stale, and just very poorly executed "delectables". If anything was freshly made, I could not tell. I had a vision of thawed out items from GFS. My daughter, who normally loves everything, disliked many items on the tray. My mother didnt say anything, but I noticed she also ate very little. Honestly, it was so bad. They only had about 2-3 true teas-some Peppermint and Earl Gray, I believe. Everything else was a flavored concoction. There was one fabulous item-a beef sandwich- no bigger round than a quarter-not joking. I had many, many leftovers, and honestly wanted a second opinion, and brought them home. I simply set out the leftovers to see what would happen. Neither my husband nor son found the leftovers enjoyable. If you are hoping this is a magical rebirth of the Butterfly Garden, so sorry, this is so not it. BG had exquisite food. Instead of spending $70 for a luke-warm welcome and flavored tea and glorified cookie tray for 3, you can go to an established fine restaurant where the food and experience will be impeccable. Or, save yourself $60 by buying some PG Tips, Danish cookies and paper doilies and deck out your table yourself.

We recently visited the Sisters Tea Parlor. We did not have a reservation because the web site says that although it is recommended, it is not necessary. Since we were driving 2 hours to get there, and were concerned about traffic, we elected not to make a reservation. However, we definitely had the feeling that they prefer you have a reservation. We arrived at 2:45 in the afternoon, but were told that we could not be seated in the dining room, but were welcome to sit at the "Tea Bar". We were not given a specific reason as to why, other than if we wanted to be seated, we would have to wait at least 15 minutes. There were only about 6 ladies in the room, as far as we could see, and there were plenty of empty tables. (We wondered if maybe there were going to be other people to be seated, but no one else came in during the time we were there, which was about 40 minutes). We decided to sit at the Tea Bar. We at first wanted to order Scones, but were told it would take 20 minutes to make the scones. We elected to each have a cup of tea, and share a "sweet plate". This plate was large, with 5 small items on it. Each item was bite-sized. Although each item was very good, there was hardly enough to fill a cavity! Most of the tea seemed to be Herbal or Scented. The person who waited on us was very attentive. Overall, I would suggest that if you go, it would be better to have a reservation. I Do not think we will try this again. Sorry to say we did not enjoy our experience.

Im sorry to see that someone had a bad experience here. I absolutely love Sisters! Ive been coming here for awhile now and every time I come its amazing. The food is always good, they always have lots of cute things in their boutique! Makes great gifts for the different girls in your life. Ive always had a pleasant experience every time I go there whether it be with my mom, mother-in-law, sisters or friends. The staff is always nice. From time to time they have great deals and coupons too. Their news letter is always very informative about their different high tea events. Ive never had a bad time here, its always been wonderful. They can even accommodate the menu to your party if there are allergies, vegan or gluten free requests. I buy their tea and take it home with me. Its delicious, especially their Paris in a teacup. I know Im ranting now, but there are just so many positive things to say about this place!

My wife and I first saw it as a Groupon on a Facebook post. Even though we live over an hour away, we disced to call and make a reservation. We are glad we did. We were greeted as we came in. we were early for our reservation so we browsed through the cute gift & boutique shop. We were seated in one of the 3 tea rooms. We browsed the menu of over 40 different teas. We already had the Groupon for a 3 tiered sandwich, scones, and desert as well as bottomless tea. We each ordered a different tea. My wife had a Paris flavored tea and I started with an almond green tea. They were both very delicious and the aroma was wonderful in the own teapots wrapped in fabric cozies. The 3 tiers were eye pleasing and all were delicious. We would go back and of course highly recommend it to anyone else.

This is absolutely one of my favorite places in the Louisville/Crestwood/LaGrange area. It is a lovely quaint tea parlor (despite being situated in a little strip mall set-up) and has friendly staff. The food is quite delicious and really reasonably priced when you consider the whole experience. Tea pots are bottomless, so you can try multiple flavors. I recommend making an experience of a long lunch or a special event tea. They also have REALLY good Gluten Free options and they do special events (baby/bridal showers, etc) - not a place to miss out on!

I went here for my birthday and had a great time! The rooms are beautifully decorated, there are lots of teas to choose from, and the little cakes were really good. I tried a white tea at first and I did not care for it and they were so nice when I asked to change it to the "Nutcracker Sweet". It was delicious! The boutique area was great too. There were lots of unique items that were all reasonably priced. I would certainly recommend Sisters Tea Parlor to others. They also surprised me with my own little birthday cupcake, candle and all!

Sisters Tea Parlor is a truly unique experience! There is a great gift shop that is often refreshed with new product lines, a fun "dress up" area where you can select the perfect hat for tea, and of course, the delicious food and huge selection of flavored teas. The overall atmosphere just feels like a special treat! Perfect for an outing with friends, family or a mother-daughter date. Sisters frequently offers special themed events for various age groups. This place is a treasure, easily accessible from I-71.

Love going here! My little sisters loved the experience, but went also with my group of adult girl friends and we all love it too. Great for all ages, sweet experience. So many tea choices, I want them all! Food is always delicious, made well. Presentation of everything is also so put together and beautiful. Ill be coming back for a long time and bringing everyone I know!
