STRONGLY RECOMMEND!!! This place is NOT just for Mexicans, its for everyone. I never write reviews but .... The lady who helped us was so nice!!! I felt a little self conscious going inside at first because Im white and only speak English. The lady who helped us spoke English and I didnt feel out of place at all! She answered all my questions happily. To top it off, my husband is from Belgium; hes been searching for a place to find good croissants.... Needless to say, that search is OVER! Hes so hard to please but somehow this place did it. As soon as you walk inside the smell of fresh bread hits your nostrils! And the prices, I was shocked! My husband could buy enough pastries for everyone on his team at work for less than $15! Not to bash but you can buy at least four pastries for the price of one at Panera and the taste doesnt compare either! We purchased several different breads and some avocados (best Ive ever eaten). We will DEFINITELY be back!

Horrible! The only reason this place is considered a bakery is because EVERYTHING they make is bread....oh you think its a cookie..nope flat bread...is that a delicious cake..nope bread. Coming from the East Coast where there are Italian bakeries, I figured oh this will be amazing but...this was a giant disappointment. I asked for help to learn about the different options but no one understood English...no Thank you....so disappointed. I will never go here again. My co-workers learned the hard way when they ordered a "cake" and served it today...guess what it was...BREAD. Everyone threw it away. If you want delicious baked items go to Sugar Sisters or Cravings...this place was terrible and so was the service.

I can fudge my way through many a savory Mexican meal, but Im in uncharted territory when it comes to Mexican bakeries. The promise of a sweet treat is universal, though the odd shapes and unnatural colors can throw me for a loop. It doesnt help that Juarez doesnt have the most intuitive setup - you have to come to the register to get a tray, then walk over to the other side of the store to choose your pastries. I soldiered on, however, and my efforts were ultimately rewarded with a paper bag filled with a hodgepodge of whatever looked good.

I went here thinking I was going to get this delicious pastry. The one I picked out was beautiful and I was so excited to eat it. However after biting into it I sadly realized it was just stale bread with food coloring in it with no flavor and not sweet like a pastry at all. My second experience was when a coworker ordered a cake and it sadly again was the stale bread with pretty colors on it (although oddly enough it also had sweet pickles on top of the cake which was very odd). Not a fan, sorry.

Being in the military you travel a lot, I am from the old country and this is the first bakery that you can say it is original. I have experienced flavors from Mexican bakeries in Colorado, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California but never have truly tasted a better bread like the one that is baked at this place. Over 70 and love my bread, so I honestly can say this is the closest, if not the real thing to a Mexican Bakery.

I love this bakery. My wife and I try to go there every Saturday. The kids each have their favorite items. We also love their tres leches cakes. If you havent tried one of Juarez Bakeries tres leches cakes then you are definitely missing out. They are now our go to cakes for everyones birthday.

This bakery has excellent Mexican pastries! I would highly recommend trying their croissants; you have to get there early to get them fresh! There is also a small grocery section with Mexican sodas and other items.

We buy Mexican pastries here often. Great selection and their deserts are amazing. They have tamale, tortilla and other Mexican groceries too. My favorite is the donut, the fluffiest donut ever!

The only place to get pan in the city, hands down. My idea of heaven is the empanada de camote. Dont be afraid to try and speak a little Spanish. The bakers are as sweet as the pan dulce!
