Disappointing. I live 2 minutes away from the DAV but Ive finally realized its just not worth going even though its so close. Ive gone at least a dozen times and Ive only bought one thing, otherwise Ive always been disappointed. Most prices are too high, especially the electronics, tools, appliances, etc in the room in the back. Prices are hard to find on the items. Dont even bother looking at the clothes. They are not organized by size and you cant try them on - the fitting rooms are locked. A while ago when you could use the fitting rooms, you had to interrupt a busy cashier for the key, and even then, the door is not full height, so it offers no privacy. It will take you 30 minutes to find a single decent item in your size, and then when you take it home and try it on it probably wont actually fit or flatter you. Many items stick around a long time. They should mark down prices on anything thats been around for too long. They have a variety of policies/signs/locks that detract the honest buyer. They must have been burned by thieves a lot, which is a shame but now it deters people who actually want to buy things. It used to be pretty dirty but they are cleaning the place up. It still does not look bright and new but at least its not bad anymore. Hopefully they read these reviews and improve their store. If they organize their clothes and unlock/fix their fitting rooms then Ill be back every month. And if they lower their prices then theyll sell a lot more.

I LOVE this DAV! Best one in Wichita! 2nd best is 47th and Seneca. Worst is Seneca and Douglas. But this place always has good finds. I always find cute stuff for my son and I can always find things that will resell in no time. Unlike all these other bad reviews, I will give them 4 stars. I found a pair of like new shox there for $3.58 my size, really white like new, sold them for $40. Mens Jordans $15, sold them for $50. You just have to look, and it takes a lot of time to look through this big store, but well worth what you find, and the prices are awesome. Only complaint is, if you keep the same stuff for months, donate to some poor people. I do see some of the same stuff going in there, and those Adidas tennis skirts, geeze mark them down from $30! Someone might buy them. Otherwise, great store. And to all the people saying its dirty, its not that bad. And you cant expect a donation place that pays minimum wage to be spotless like a kohls. Come on now! Im sure you wouldnt want to clean and scrub for $7/hour.

The absolute worst DAV. Their stuff is extremely overpriced. I saw an item there from Walmart (walmart brand), Walmart sells it for $3 DAV price over $5! They always have the same junk! I found a mixer marked $50 in 2 spots, went to purchase it and they would not sell it to me because it did not match their "price code". The "manager" said that the mixer was not supposed to have left there storage room. Sounded very shady to me. (Possible internal theft). I vowed to never returned to that location. Very very very poor customer service.

This the worst DAV in town! They never have any sales and their stuff is always the same. The clothes are so jammed together that is it hard to look at!!! Have a sale like the other DAVs in town. Have some turn over in product. Get a clue!!!

Sometimes I wonder who prices their items. They are so wildly varied. They do get more antiques & collectables at this location. Probably because of the Collage Hill people donate there.

Prices are a lot more reasonable than Goodwill. Not as big a selection as GW but thats because the stuff moves out quicker due to the lower prices.
