My wife and I go to this Panera often. At least 2 times a week. Weve been to many Paneras and I cant understand the complaints from other reviewers. The food is good, as is the service. Most of the cashiers working the front are rather friendly and cordial. When we pick up our food we always get a polite "thank you." My wife also is a big fan of their lattes and frozen drinks. I dont know the managers of this particular Panera, but I do know some of the employees as they are classmates from Washburn University. They are NOT related to the managers. Dont know where another reviewer conjured up the inaccurate information about employees only being related to the managers. Im usually very critical of places in Topeka. If I dont like it even once, I probably will never return again unless YOURE buying. This Panera is on par with other Paneras Ive been to. Dont know what all the boo hoo is about.

The food and service at this location is great and I love eating here. The parking situation sucks big time which I do not hold them wholly responsible for with the exception of their rapid pick up parking. This is 5 minute parking for rapid pick up not to go in order wait 20 minutes and leave parking. I have seen cars parked in the 5 minute parking for up to an hour when I am sitting in the restaurant eating and it is never enforced. I use rapid pick up often during the work week and can never get parking to just run in and literally grab my food and run out. They either need to enforce the 5 minute parking or remove it all together.

Trust me, dont be fooled by the name. This Paneras is the laughing stock of every other store in NE Kansas. The managers only focus is getting as much food out as possible. This means that the cleaning stinks, and Customer service is terrible. The reason for most of this is that its a family run business. The two main managers are cousins, and 5 of the 8 or so employees are related to them.

I cant even begin on how great the customer service here was. Every employee seemed happy and enjoyed their job. They didnt have sweet tea and this really nice man in a green shirt whipped her up her own special sweet tea. U have been to many different panera restraunts between Topeka KS and IL THIS restaurant is by far the best. Thank you guys we will definitely be coming back.

Food and service is always fine but the food is way expensive for what you get. One sandwich with hardly any meat and a bag of chips is 10 bucks. I can go to Jersey Mikes and watch them hand cut the meat and make the sandwich with chips and drink for that and literally have more than twice the amount of sandwich.

Not sure where the negative reviewers dined. Certainly not the Paneras in Topeka. We go weekly and the service is great, the food very good and it is always clean. Best bread and salads in town. Only down side is that it is often busy, but that is what happens when you provide a good product and quality service.

I used to love Panera. But the last three times there , it hasnt been nice at all. I have had three different servers, and they are just not nice. It makes you feel you are bothering them. I mean, not even a smile... so me and my family are not going there anymore. A smile goes a long way!

We are big travellers and we like to visit Paneras all over the country. This is, by far, the WORST Panera weve ever been to. Unfortunately it is the one in our hometown. Our favorite Panera is either the ONE in San Francisco or one we visit when we got to Treasure Island, Florida.

Good option for organic and vegetarian dish options. Lots of salad and Soup options as well as a Coffee/Bakery area as well. Healthy options are available but better to check calories, etc. because some dressings/soups will lessen the healthiness of the item.

Clean dining room, fast service, free wifi, and youre allowed to sit and work without being bothered (just be polite and save it for the hours between meal rushes). Delicious food as always.

Love Panera! Been to Panera all across the country. This Panera is the worst. Slow service, bagel slicer always off on slicing, rarely keeps souffles stocked, and usually a little dirty.
