This location is a good size with a wide variety so I give it 3 stars but I cant help but be irritated by the pricing on things, particularly home decor and seasonal decorations. For a so called "non profit" they over price used items as if they were new. Every time I go there I find several items with the original store sticker still on them and yet the salvation army price is marked higher than it was originally sold for in new condition. Sometimes its even double the original price! At least take the store sticker off so people dont know they are being over charged for items that were donated. Who ever does the pricing is seriously out of touch with reality. If shoppers could afford the prices of stores like home goods and the like they would just shop there. Clothing and toys seem reasonably price for the most part though. Other locations in the area dont seem to have such a pricing issue-just this location.

Love to shoo thrift stores and this is one of my favorites! I go out of my way to go to this store when I can. Huge, clean, organized and LOTS of variety. Went last week, if I wore an 8.5 shoe I could have walked out with 4 or 5 awesome, high quality pair of shoes but (sigh), Im a 9.5 and didnt have much to there for me. Prices are a little higher than you would expect from a TS but they had 50% off all clothes this day so averaged out to what you would consider normal prices. If Im really looking for a bargain I go to KCK and "not JOCO" thriftstores, otherwise I know I will pay a little more for higher quality selection.

I have been going to this thrift store for a few years now, and like other reviewers...the customer service has declined quite a bit. No employees on sales floor anywhere, and only one checker at register. I found a couple items of clothing, none of which had prices on them...and upon asking cashier about prices, bc I could not find any other employees, she acted like I had intentionally took the price tags off of the items. This store does have a nice selection of things, some are definitely way overpriced, and store is not very clean. After my visit today, it will definitely be awhile before I return, if I even do.

This place has certainly improved since it first set up here a few years back. As I had not been since then based on seeing clothes with stains and funky smells in the early days. Seems they have cleaned things up now. The prices on some things here are bizarrely high as far as resale thrifting goes ($6 for a faded black Walmart brand top??). But then there are some great deals to be snagged too ($8 for a recent cut Buckle brand pair of mens jeans with minor fraying). Very inconsistent in comparison to Goodwill pricing but the selection cant be beat. And the color themed layout is a preference of mine.

This store is pretty good. It has fairly good deals, and Ive found quite a few things there in the last couple of years. Prices do seem to be increasing. Its very large though, and has a wide selection of clothing. I do agree with other customers regarding customer service. There is usually no one at the register, and if there is, Ive only ever seen 1 checker at a time, which can result in waiting in line. Its also really difficult to find anyone to assist you. It feels like no one is ever working. They definitely need to hire more employees.

I judge most thrift stores based on size, prices, and amount of junk. This store is quite large and has lot of stuff in it in just about every category you can think of. My only gripe would be the one I have with most Salvation Army stores: things cost too much. Especially when it comes to furniture. Youre better off lurking on Craigslist for a steal than even thinking of looking here for cheap furniture. Other than that, I think everything else is a decent price.

Sad how they treat you like a thief. After 2 hours of sifting through clothes to find the right color tag, with my toddler. I got to checkout and my toddler had pulled a tag off one, absolutely would not take my word for it. Im almost in tears being treated like this!! Im a hard working stay at mom mom trying to save money. Will not return to be treated this way.

Ive shopped there since they opened this location ... But Now, they have a New Store Manager who is OUT OF CONTROL ON PRICING ... It looks like she thinks sh is managing a store in the mall ... $8.99 for an old worn out shirt from the Gap?? ... it wont take long for the main headquarters downtown to start to wonder why her stores sales have tanked ...

I generally love thrift stores, because they help me meet budget needs. This particular salvation army milks/takes advantage of the fact that they are in Johnson county & more often than not has what I would consider to be high prices for used stuff. I can get the same types of items at other thrift stores, even other S.A.s, for $2 to even $5 less.

Most of the prices are too expensive for a thrift store they have terra cotta pots that are selling for $2.99 at the thrift store you can buy the same one brand new at Michaels arts for .89. They were no signs on the stuffed animals they charged me $1.99 because of a ty beanie babies. With no tag on it. The same bin all the other toys were .50 cents.

Sorry, but their items are overpriced. I shouldnt have to pay brand new/retail prices for used things. Salvation army is supposed to help people by having affordable, used items. These are used items, but not affordable.

People are rude here. No Customer Service at all. Not enough cashiers and no one on the sales floor to ask questions. So unorganized. Never coming back to this store.

I never find anything here :( They oftentimes have nicer vintage/antique (ish) furniture that Id like to buy but is priced like an antique store not a thrift store.

This is a nicer thrift store than one would expect. Its easy to spend a lot of time finding some good buys. We thrifters expect to take time. This is a good store.

My favorite place to get some awesome clothes for a sweet price. They have the best selection I have seen of the thrift shops around.

Its okay. Its large but disorganized. They also charge quite a bit. Other thrift stores are much better deal and better organized.

Lack of useful organization, drafty and badly lit dressing rooms. Books were decently priced some other things not so much.

Its one of the larger Salvation Armys Ive ever been in. That said, the products that they carry are quite a bit overpriced.

This is the biggest salvation army in the area. It has a large selection of everything at very nice prices.
