I went to college in Los Angeles area, and in the LA area there are coffee shops on every street corner. I loved visiting the non-chain coffee shops, so when I moved back home I wanted to have a place like in LA that I could visit. Coffee Works is a great place to study, work on homework, catch up with friends, read a book, or just relax. It is not your Starbucks or Caribou Coffee shop, which is what makes it unique to little Sioux City. The prices are cheaper than the chain restaurants, and the drinks/food are WAY better. The menu has a variety of options, including coffee, tea, sandwiches, pastries and more. Coffee Works is where I go when I am nostalgic of being in LA and just want a good cup of coffee.

Many years ago, I used to be a regular here while visiting the Indians in the nearby reservations but the last visit was about 7 years ago. the greatest memory of this place was meeting the most erudite and intelligent man in all of Sioux City Mr Steve A! also remembered the photography of the owner, Ron.. today I went in for coffee, renewed the acquaintance of the owner and also had a most stimulating conversation with Mr Steve A... The best place for coffee in Sioux City...

Nice atmosphere, it is inviting. They provide WiFi. It is locally run which makes it nice to support local businesses. It is a little higher priced choice. The coffee taste is not consistent the baristas make the drinks differently. With this being a coffee shop the coffee and lattes should be great every time and they are not!!!

We just moved here from Oregon. Finding a great neighborhood coffeehouse was at the top of our to-do list. Coffee Works is just about perfect: Great coffee, great sandwiches and soups, and a quirky, friendly atmosphere. Well be regulars.

A friend of mine introduced me to Pierce Street Coffee Works and I am now a regular on the weekends. They have great coffee, free wifi (sometimes but it is really quite terrible) and the atmosphere is wonderful. I love it!

Good, not great coffee. Very good food, especially the soups. Great atmosphere. The problem is, a coffee shop should be known for its coffee, not the soup. Expensive!
