Updated August 2nd 2017: This Latin market is growing up! They are turning it into a place to sit down and eat. Still the same great authentic Mexican food. Now with more seating and less Market. Previous Post: Mexican food store with a small place to sit down and eat. The cook always does an excellent job! Id say the most authentic place in Iowa City.

Essentially, this grocer contains a taco truck, and the result is outstanding. The tacos and tortas are great street food, especially with the homemade salsa verde. There is virtually no seating, and no wait staff - but it makes for a great lunch regardless.

Best little Mexican place in town. Small menu, but outstanding food. only three tables though, since its in a market, so prepare to eat elsewhere.
