Horrible experience. Very rude and unprofessional staff. On 4/3/17 at 5:50pm, I shopping when a twenty- something, blonde, thin female who identified herself as a "Manager", came over and said "We are closed, you need to step outside,and go through the single door, the other is being locked". Her tone and attitude towards me was worth reporting. I had over $200 worth of product in my hand. As a business owner I would not turn away a sale like that. It was obvious she was in a hurry to close up a little early, so I put the product down and walked out. I will never return to such a place that treated me the way she did. I have nothing but disgust as an impression of the Coralville Sephora. Unfortunately, you lost a long time customer.

I went to this Sephora and I had an excellent experience. This was my first time ever going to any Sephora ever and there was nothing but good energy. I was promptly greeted with smiles and cheerful tones.When getting color matched I was asked in depth question on my skin and any questions I had were answered without a problem. When I explained some of the things I was thinking of purchasing I was given very professional feed back on the product, how it would react to my very dry skin and recommendations on what would work better to ensure flawless makeup application. I will most defiantly be going back.

The staff is unbelievably rude and stuck up. They had at least 5 workers standing around that all made eye contact with me but never asked me if I needed any help. One woman did help me for a second, but walked away quickly. When I asked someone else, they directed me back to her (I was asking about face masks) and she (with a rude, annoyed sigh) showed me all the masks in the store, not telling me about them just how much they cost. Fine whatever. Then, I asked someone else about makeup and got a half assed makeover from some monotone chick. I guess all the memes are true, this store is a joke.

When I went into sephora with a friend to shop for makeup that she recommended I was asked at one point to try on mascara. But then after I had been told to try these differ types of makeup. And wanted to go find an highlighter the sephora staff started following me and my friend for no apparent reason and acting as if they were looking at something else but followed us on this store was only white consumers and they via sly and racially followed us. This made me not want to ever come here again or to give sephora no more money of mine I have a video of the incident and I will be posting it.

They have a terrible selection of makeup to test out, I need to see what I am buying before I purchase foundation or eyeshadows. Last time I asked for help with foundations I got a girl whose makeup was so caked it literally looked like a pancake. I know they are taught about some makeup applications I was trying to be polite and just get some samples she suggested the next time I went in and asked a different sales person I got eye rolls and a youre wasting my time vibe. This is why people buy online

This store is my favorite place on earth! Everyone there is so happy and eager to help you, and answer any questions you have! All the employees are very professional and easy going. Many of the workers know me by name now, and that shows me that I am valued as a customer. It may be just a small store, but it sure holds a lot of laughs and many kind hearted people. I will always come back to this store any time that I am in the mall!

Awful selection of makeup and the store racially profiles and will follow you around NO. MATTER. WHAT. 3 different people came up to me, sorry for my offensive skin color but I am just swatching, not stealing. This place is the absolute worse.
