I was just passing through Terre Haute, IN on my way home to Texas, when my sister said its Starbucks time. So we got out our phones to find the closest one, which was store # 2727 on S. US 41. All of the staff was very friendly. The guy, (dont remember his name), that made my tea (peach citrus white tea) was super. I was having a hard time making up my mind on what to order, he asked a couple of questions about what I liked and recommended this tea. I absolutely love it. I wish I could remember his name so he could receive the kudos he deserves, but we were there 8/24/17, just before 3:00 pm.

Alright. So a Starbucks is a Starbucks is a Starbucks... at least until its not. I may be strange (at least by Indiana standards) but I often drink coffee in the afternoons and this particular Starbucks coffee in the afternoon is the most inconsistent and at times strangest tasting brew (in a very bad way) Ive ever had. I dont know if Im drinking the 6am coffee at 4pm or what but Ive had this experience 3 times now and theres nothing worse than not being able to stomach drinking the coffee you were looking forward to as you start a long road trip.

Theres nothing welcoming about being mockingly greeted by staff gathered around a table, having a meeting, by one "off-the-clock" employee followed by a loud burst of laughter from his co-workers. The store, specifically the restroom, is in need of some serious cleaning. Behind-the-counter, only one staff member was friendly. She nearly saved this experience. The mound of boxes lining the wall werent especially appealing either. I couldnt leave fast enough. I will never return to this location. Id rather drink gas station swill.

Went inside because the line for drive through was to the street. Ordered fairly quickly and waited over 10 minutes for a coffee. When a patron who had ordered well after me started to get their order I went to ask for a refund. The staff quickly worked to figure out where my drink had gone and found it had been placed into another order. The staff member who had put the drink there didnt offer an apology for the inconvenience but got defensive and stated he had called out the drink, which he hadnt.

Drive thru evidently takes priority here,three vehicles that ordered after us received their orders before us,and when my wife reminded Sarah about the banana nut bread after we received our order,she was very snotty in her response,just for my wife saying " We had a banana nut bread also with out order"?.Thanks Sarah,you reminded us why we never stop at this location.

PERFECT experience! We have been traveling and this was the perfect refreshment spot. Wonderfully kind baristas, very fast orders (4 minutes, tops!) And everything came out perfectly accurate. Thank you!!
