I usually LIKE Walmart but, today it SUCKED BIG ONES. I went with my 70 year old mother and my sister to put some items into lay a way. As soon as we knew that there was about $600.00 worth of items we went to lay a way. Waited for I would say 5 min. for a cashier to come back up to the register. The cashier said "Hi, can I help you." My 70 year old mom who can’t walk for a long period of time or stand very long either said "Want to put in a lay a way". The cashier then said "What take out a lay a way?" My mom said "NO, put one in." She looked at the cart and said "We dont do apparel in lay a way". Imagine my surprise when the cashier said that!!! She even said "We asked to have signs put up but "THEY" said NO." We (my mom and I) said its fine, and she apologized we walked away. My sister was very P.Od. she was at the back where she couldn’t hear a word said. We took what we had separated them into another cart because we were going to put $300 down for this lay a way, instead we went to check out and spend the money up front up to $345. You would have made another $300 if you would have put it in lay a way. But we couldn’t put apparel in lay a way could we? I just want to know what is WRONG with your managers. They must not take their employees opinions like they should, your employees deal with the customers more than they do. They need to listen to their employees more that themselves or corporate because you all don’t deal with customers either.

I have to agree with most comments here, Walmart is definitely not about customers, and really does not do their research when it comes to cheapest price and customer satisfaction. Endless lines, limited cashiers, lazy stockers and rude service is all you will get at the Kokomo Indiana location. The store is a mess and the staff is so unprofessional. The Lube Service center is ridiculous and really need to be trained and certified. I along with my family have been avid Walmart customers, but we are quickly straying because the service and attention just isnt up to par. Get it together Walmart being a multi billion dollar corporation doesnt exclude you for better business practices and being loyal to your customers. Walgreens and Meijer along with target are stepping it up, so Walmart take notes cause you are definitely failing!

Currently in line at this Walmart as I have been for the past 25 minutes. There were three people ahead of me, one of which walked out. The cashier walked away from the register and left us all here waiting. There are 2 other behind me in line as well. There is only one register open and nobody is working the U-Scan but they are on and multiple people have tried using them (me included) and in the middle of a transaction the red light comes on and you cant scan another item. This store is filthy. Things are thrown all over the place. The floors look like they havent been swept or waxed in weeks. This store clearly does not value its customers and doesnt care if people walk out with the sweet time they take to help people. I do not recommend wasting your time to go to the Kokomo Walmart.

Walmart is Walmart. I have shopped at Walmarts in 47 States, and I find their continuity to be heartening. One thing I think is Unique to Walmarts, is that they allow Overnight parking for RVS and Camper Trailers. As someone who has travelled Nationwide while Transporting RVS and Campers, I have enjoyed the convenience of spending the night in a safe and well-lit parking space, then being able to get breakfast at the in-Store McDonalds, then, restock my coolers with ice, sandwich makings, and munchies. Being able to get an Oil Change, buy Auto Parts and accessories, etc, is also part of Walmarts charm. Much like a Franchise Restaurant, you can find the same goods and services, and the same helpful Staff in every State and Town.

A lot of the employees in our local store are rude and do things like cut you off in the aisles. They have a McDonalds in our Walmart and the whole store always stinks because of it. They do not stock their shelves and I usually cant get a third of the items on our list. The lines are always ridiculously long due to not enough registers being open. Last but not least, I watched them roll up prices so they could "roll back" prices for years. I agree with other reviews that they are not always the cheapest. We just quit shopping there period!

If youve ever want to feel like another brick in the wall, a part of the machine, or just a typical criminal.. Stop by your Kokomo Wal-Mart. They have outstanding security features, high definition cameras, with feed displays at self checkout. Also, the local friendly methhead checking valuables in my car upon leaving. I guess the cameras are appropriate. Thanks Wal-Mart, rock bottom prices for a rock bottom society.

Workers are rude and the place is always cluttered. Open some line for crying out loud. A multi-million dollar chain should be able to afford more than a couple cashiers. Why are there so many lines if you arent going to operate them. You could at least let the U-scan run at night. I hate going here and do my best to avoid it.

Typical walmart. Has many things you need. However, as is becoming common, there are not many registers open to check out at. I would like to see more cashiers available, especially during high volume times. Many times I have waited in long lines to check out, even at the express areas.

Worst Walmart around said they dont price match with opposition but the rest do. These workers are so the least knowledgeable people on anything ex. Electronics ask if they carried PlayStation 4 headsets and they said they didnt went in and saw them. worst experience ever with a store

Dont know any Walmart that has enough employees at registers but check out is generally fast, even when packed. Fairly good stock on most essential items but seasonal items are out of stock fast and rarely restocked in reasonable time frames. Good customer service over all.

Used to like shopping there now I dont. Whats stupid is you have 21 cash registers and only 3 open you see employees walking around instead of being where they need to be. It causes lines to build its not black Friday. Customers are more important then the employees.

I have bought many chargers for my phone and Xbox controller for the location and ever single one breaks within a week of being bought I even got a charger for my phone a week ago and it had lasted less then 2 days before it broke and I didnt even have the box opened

Prices on certain items are not ringing up correct. Need to go through that store and make New tickets for ALL Merchandise!!! I usually like Walmart but today I had to stand in line TOO long for price checks.. plus, I would have bought a pool but No Price!!

This location is consistently restricted down to 1 checkout lane late evening thru early morning with no self checkout. This results is extremely long lines and wait times. Its unusual for a Wal-Mart located in a town of this size.
