The best Asian market in the area - immaculately clean, and all the basics are here. If youre looking for a huge Asian mega-mart (Oh, H-Mart, how I miss you...) this is not it. But youll find everything you need here. The 5th star is for the sushi counter - OMG, their Dons (sashimi served over a bowl of rice) are awesome. Im low carb, and they are happy to substitute daikon threads instead of rice. And in the Japanese fashion, each one comes with a lovely bowl of miso soup with tiny cubes of tofu and a healthy dose of seaweed. Everything in the restaurant side is great - there is a dining area, so you can enjoy there or take it all home with you. Best sushi Ive yet had in Indy.

What a great spot for some traditional Japanese food and grocery items. The restaurant offers a variety of noodles, and sushi. Both of which are great. Prices are very reasonable. For instance a bowl of udon comes with a california roll, for about $12 or less. The grocery has tons of goods to explore. This is especially true in the cold and freezer sections where sushi grade fish can be found. My only wish is that they would carry a larger selection of tea. With all the Asian grocers in the area, one would think a larger selection of quality tea would be available.

The food was really tasty but the service was a little off putting. The people behind the counter did not acknowledge that we walked in. We were the only customers so I had an awkward "I am invisible" moment. It was our first visit so Im not sure if this is normal for them. We got tea to drink and they just had us grab a tea bag and a styrofoam cup. The hot water dispenser spit hot water in every direction and burned my hand. Food was really good but the service and atmosphere took away from that a bit.

Best Japanese store I have visited in Indiana. Grocery sectio comparable to the big department stores I used to visit in Singapore. More importantly, price is practically half what I paid in Singapore. They also have fresh fish which was the biggest draw for us. The staff was also very friendly and they helped us pack our frozen grocery in ice. The vegetable section is small but they have a nice authentic collection. Definitely will visit here often.

One World has an outstanding selection of Japanese foods, fresh, frozen and packaged. The staff is friendly and responsive. Their fresh seafood is the best in both selection and freshness. My first experience with hamachi kama was with a piece bought here and grilled at home over charcoal - delicious. If you are at all interested in having the best Japanese food to take home, this is by far the best place in central Indiana by far!

日本食は大体そろう。 レストランは、日本の高速サービスエリアの食事レベルのものが食べられる。 うどん、カレー、巻き寿司など種類は多い。 素晴らしくおいしいわけではないが、普通の安めの日本食を食べたいときにいい。

Grocery wise, this is the go to place for japanese items. Food wise, the quality has gone down considerably over the past few years. Cant really call it authentic. More like japanese influenced food. I had a Unagi bowl and could not finish it because it was too salty. My wife had an Udon and said it was Ok. Love the place, but guess Ill be looking somewhere else for authentic Japanese food.

I love coming to this place for lunch. Their Katsudon is to die for! It tastes so good, and the price is reasonable for the amount you get as well. I also recommend the spicy bomb inari. When Im not eating there, I like to browse their ingredients to attempt (and often fail at) making authentic Asian food at home. Definitely recommend!

A total gem. This Japanese market and cafe is a godsend for anybody looking for real Japanese products and foods. It has an amazing selection of fresh and packaged goods at reasonable prices. The food covers all the standards: Udon, Curry, Sushi, Donburi, etc. and the prices are very reasonable for freshly prepared Japanese food.

Has lots of great Japanese ingredients, some nihonshu, but no shouchu. Has some household items such as bowls and toiletries (e.g. mimisouji). Also has some more cultural/seasonal items such as daruma. There is also a kitchen that serves fresh food, but they took korokke off the menu, unfortunately.

My girlfriend and I are here at least once, sometimes twice a week. The udon specials are incredible, the staff is very friendly, and theyve expanded, making it much more accessible for dining. The shopping selection is very nice as well! Try it! And then go back for more later.

Interesting to find this Japanese gem in the Midwest. Great cafe for sushi & other Japanese foods. The chirashi bowl I had was good and the dynamite roll wasnt very spicy, but still satisfying. It was great to shop in the grocery for the different Japanese snacks and items.

They have a friendly staff and a great lunch menu! Although my food came out with a hair in it, they gave me a new dish promptly and apologized for the mistake. I love the atmosphere and the way they treat their customers. The price is good for what you get as well.

Japanese comfort food. Ramen portions are a bit small and the meat in the ramen was still cold once. But every other time weve gone, the food has been great. I always get the katsu and it has yet to disappoint. The spicy inari bombs are fantastic.

The staff was friendly, my katsudon was phenomenal, and the selection of goods for sale in the store was not only delighfully comprehensive but way cheaper than my grocery store. Im keeping this place in mind.

Very rude and young ghetto staff. Majorly disappointed.tine to clean house and start with a new customer service/food safety certified staff. I HATE this place. Will never come back. So unorganized and dirty.

My favorite things to get here are the Niku Udon and their HALF PRICE pre-packaged SUSHI thirty-minutes before closing time everyday. Thank you OneWorld for helping my sushi cravings, please never leave

The most authentic Japanese restaurant in Indianapolis. I have eaten there over a dozen times and each time, the food was delicious. To qualify my authenticity statement; I used to live in Japan.

This is our go-to place to delicious Japanese snacks, candies, sodas, and coffees. Plum wine and beers are great, too. I havent eaten the food for some years, but less out of choice than of time.

This is my absolute favorite Japanese restaurant and grocery in the city. Great products and customer service. Seating area is spacious. The seafood is always very fresh. And they have Takoyaki!

The sushi is very good as well as the udon and katsudon. The only down side is the seating area is small given that this is primarily a grocery store and less of a restaurant.

Food is getting worse and worse; they use concentrated broth and portions are getting less and less...basically you pay for water plus MSG, which you become addicted

Even the Americans act polite like the Japanese. An American girl staff member bowed to me and used two hands to give me change with eye contact. Very impressed

In my opinion, the best place to get sushi in Indianapolis. The food is delicious and reasonably priced! The staff is also incredibly friendly and helpful.
