As of 11/14/2015, My experience with purchasing a Sectional Sofa from Value City Furniture, Greenwood Indiana…so far!!! Unfortunately, it’s not over yet! Value City Furniture has proven to me that purchasing product from Value City Furniture is an AT YOUR OWN RISK purchase. For me, it’s been: 14 weeks 6 scheduled delivery dates 3 actual deliveries of incorrect or defective product. 1 repair And Ive yet to receive the product I paid cash for on 8/4/2015 Date Purchased: 8/4/15 paid in full Assured delivery: Sept 8th I was contacted: Sept 3rd 10:30am. Told delivery wouldnt be until Sept 19. Store arranged for partial delivery on Sept 9th. With remainder delivered Sept 19. Partial delivery Sept 9th, with remainder delivery Sept 19th. I was contacted Sept 17th 11am with confirmation that remainder of delivery would be between 9am-12pm on Sept 19th. I was contacted Sept 17th 5:50pm stating earliest delivery would be Oct 8th. 9/18 I went to VCF Greenwood, IN. store: Arranged to have original chaise-ottoman picked up and deliver 2nd choice chaise-ottoman-sofa in steel gray on 9/26/15 9/26 second choice of sectional delivered. 10/3/15 filed claim for seam separation on chassis claim #xxxxxxx, as of 10/15/15, I had not received any communication or response from claim. 10/10/15 I went to VCF Greenwood, IN. store and was told repairs could be made but at the repairman’s convenience because they only have one repairman. I asked for a refund and that they pick up the defective furniture. Store said no way thats’ gonna happen. I asked for a replacement of defective chassis, store said NO but they could repair damage. I set repair appointment for 10/21/15. 10/20/15 called store to find out time repairman would show up. Was told hed be at my house between 2p and 5p on 10/21. 10/21/15 He showed up at 5:10pm. Said store told him not to show up til after 5p. He sewed the rip leaving bubbles in the seam located on the seat of the chasse. I wouldn’t accept the repair. He said he listed the chassis as an exchange and the store would contact me within the next 24-48 hours to arrange an exchange. 10/29/15 called VCF Plainfield, IN. store was told the manager hasn’t had time to review my claim and to call back on Tuesday 11/3 if I havent been contacted by then. 11/4/15 called VCF Plainfield, IN. store was told that a second repairman would need to come and attempt repair, but there was an issue with scheduling the repair appointment and they agreed to replace chasse and scheduled delivery for Saturday 11/14/15. And they will call on 11/12/15 to confirm delivery or let me know if piece is a backorder item, with projected delivery date. 11/12/15 received call Chasse would be delivered between 1:30-4:30 on 11/14/15 11/14/15 14:40 delivery arrived with a different style and different color then my other piece of the sectional sofa. I was informed by deliveryman he will notify the store of the error and to expect call from store manager soon…to be continued!

Purchased a sofa and chair. The sales lady told me my furniture would be in the following Friday and I could track to be safe. So, I tracked my furniture and the following Thursday night it said my furniture was ready for pick up. I went ahead and got rid of my old furniture that night and took Friday off work to pick my furniture up. When I got to the store on Friday all they brought out was a chair. I told them I was picking up the couch also. They told me the couch wasnt there and it would take a month for me to be able to get it. I showed them on my phone that it showed it was there and ready for pick up. They told me they had no answer on why it would say that and basically told me I was out of luck for a month. So a month went by and I received a call confirming my order and they told me I would receive a call they following day to set up a delivery time. That was the last time I heard from them. They called me the day of delivery at 7:15 in the evening said they were 5 minutes away. Overall terrible experience and will no longer buy my furniture from there. I had only a chair for over a month in my living room and list a day of work for nothing. After they had my money when I purchased the furniture they did not care. No customer service or care for there customer.

I purchased a sectional and the round chair set from the acceptance now program in a 90 day period. I went there on Dec 11th 2015 and received my living room suite on Dec 15th, a day before my birthday!! I was excited, it came on time everything was great! I made my payments and I called to pay it off late Jan. When I looked at my email I realized that my sectional was looked like it had an additional big pillow that goes along the chaise that I didnt have. I asked the lady who helped take my final payment to confirm if that the sectional was indeed suppose to come with 4 "thick and big" pillows and 4 little pillows. She did confirm that I was missing a pillow. They ordered the pillow for me and Fed-Ex to my house. It was an easy and quick process. I was expecting to have a hard time and maybe have to pay for an additional pillow because I neglected to pay attention for 2 months before I caught it in that picture. We all get busy and Im glad I noticed, my sectional looks a lot better!!! Thank you so so much!!!! I will definitely recommend to everyone and I will be back as well real soon! I love my living room!

I purchased a couch near the end of 2016. Rented a truck to pick it up, they loaded it. Got home, dropped it off, took truck back to rental store. Next day began assembly, couch was defective, couldnt assemble. Called store, had to drive the couch back to them and swap it for another one. Everything was fine for a month and then the middle of the couch has given out, one metal spring at a time will pop out of its mounting Location under the sitter. I personally was laying length wise for a good hour watching tv and randomly a spring pops and I sunk a few inches, I wasnt even moving. I called the store and they want me to bring the couch back to them to look at it. I spent 1400 dollars on this, I shouldnt be dealing with this.

Im so happy to have Bobs Furniture here in town. I used to live in CT and all my furniture was bought at their store in CT. I just left the store here on the southside of Indy and had a wonderful experience! Kris Nirhoe was the sales associate who helped me and my husband to find the right comfortable recliner for him and a great reading chair with ottoman for our master bedroom. Kris is super knowledgeable and has great sales skills. Thanks Kris! My experience at Bobs could not have been better!

Went in and ordered a couch that we were super excited about. It was two weeks ago. We were supposed to be able to go get the couch tomorrow, and now I got the phone call saying that it would be available in PLAINFIELD. I live in Shelbyville.... Why would I want it in Plainfield? When I called and spoke to them, the customer service at the store was unfriendly and not helpful. I paid way too much and waited way too long to have to deal with this mess.
